Poetry
* * *And the pheasants asked: “Find us the letter F, eagle owl.” But, sighing heavily, the eagle owl hides in the hollow. The eagle owl, even with a lantern, sees nothing during the day.
About the letter F
One day the letter F was walking in a clearing and saw a hedgehog. She had never seen such animals before, so she was very scared.
She snorted: “F-f-f,” and then even louder: “Fur-fir-fir.”
The hedgehog curled up into a ball and put out his needles.
An eagle owl watched everything that happened from a tree.
“Uff, uff,” he shouted from the tree to the letter F, “Don’t be afraid, it’s a hedgehog, he won’t hurt you.”
Buva F stopped snorting, and the hedgehog put away his needles. They began to play together.

Trinity Izmailovsky Cathedral
Article: Trinity-Izmailovsky Cathedral - a revived guards temple
General view of the Izmailovsky Trinity Cathedral in St. Petersburg
Orthodox church in the Admiralteysky district of St. Petersburg
appeared in the 30s of the XIX century.
The stone cathedral was built according to the design of the talented architect Vasily Petrovich Stasov on the site of an old wooden church. In 1867, under the arches of this church, the wedding of Fyodor Dostoevsky and Anna Snitkina took place.
In the 1930s the temple was closed. At first, they wanted to demolish the good-quality building or rebuild it as a city crematorium. During the Great Patriotic War, the church was heavily damaged by bombing. Today, the cruciform five-domed cathedral has been completely restored and welcomes believers and tourists every day.
