Then it was decided to erect stone buildings in their place. The new building, already in the status of a cathedral, was consecrated in 1836. The five-domed temple with an elegant bell tower and an eclectic exterior, in which the influence of Byzantine and Old Russian styles is felt, turned out to be surprisingly elegant. With the advent of Soviet power, the monastery buildings were transferred to the bakery; they were returned to the church only in 1994.
