The seaport of Tuapse is one of the largest Russian ports on the Black Sea coast, transshipping dry and oil cargo. It also has a grain transshipment complex. The port was founded in 1898, at the time when the first ship entered it.
The port's annual cargo turnover is 20 million tons of cargo. The seaport also serves vessels with a total weight of up to 55 thousand tons in dry cargo areas and 100 thousand tons in naphthenic areas. Rock Kiseleva
Located between Cape Kadosh and the Agoy River in the reserve. Therefore, it is impossible to call it completely wild. The seating area itself is located directly under the ledge. Underfoot there are large, sometimes sharp pebbles. There is no infrastructure nearby. But for visitors there is crystal clear water, birdsong and the sound of the sea. Please note that getting there is quite difficult; public transport does not go here, but you can first get there by bus from route 18 and then walk. An alternative is a personal car, although you will have to leave it at a distance.
How to get there?
By train and electric trains: all passenger trains and electric trains going to Adler pass through the Tuapse railway station. Several passenger trains depart from Moscow every day; the journey takes almost a day.
You can get to Tuapse by plane. Krasnodar airport is located 170 km from the resort, the airport in Adler is 134 km away, and it is possible to come from Gelendzhik 136 km away.
Having landed at Krasnodar airport, you can get to the Tuapse resorts in about 2.5-3 hours by car, it all depends on how busy the route is. If you buy a ticket for an intercity bus, the travel time will be 3.5 hours.
During the journey, endless fields give way to the picturesque foothills of the main Caucasian ridge, approaching the Tuapse region, the road begins to turn from a straight line into a long serpentine road.

Dolphinarium "Aquamir"
Dolphinarium "Aquamir" is located in the resort village of Nebug, 15 km from Tuapse. The show of three dolphins and two fur seals takes place twice a day (from 11.00 and 17.00) except on Mondays, when the artists have a day off. The weather doesn't bother them, so even if it rains, the show isn't cancelled. The duration of the performance is about an hour.
During the program, various tricks are performed, and the dolphins also paint an abstract painting that can be bought at auction. The auction winner gets a bonus ride in a boat pulled by dolphins. This theater grew out of the amateur theater group "Suitcase", specializing in children's productions. In 1991 he received professional status. In 2001, he settled in the building of the former Sadko cinema (Tamanskaya St., 18).
Tuapse Youth Theater is the only theater of this profile on the Black Sea coast, a winner of many All-Russian competitions among provincial theaters. The route that connects dolmens is called “The Road to Happiness.” The paths are well-maintained, with trash cans and rest areas throughout.
The cup of life is a stone cavity of enormous size.
Dolmen of Prosperity - due to its size, it is the largest in the Kuban territory; the megalith is carved into the rock.
The rock of wishes is a large slab; in order for a wish to come true, you need to stand in the center and make a wish.
The stone of male power is an elongated vertical boulder. Men should touch it with both hands and ask for good health.
Menhir “Tunnel to the Future” - consists of several vertical menhirs. They are folded in such a way that a tunnel is formed between them. If you believe the legends, after going through it, you can cleanse yourself of negativity.

The architectural building of 2003 became a landmark for the city. It combines a custom architectural form in the form of a blue glass sphere mounted on a 60-meter-high hexagonal tower and a functional Navigation Control Center. Snake Gorge
If you don’t want to spend your entire vacation lying on a well-maintained beach, but, on the contrary, like an informal holiday, then go to Snake Gorge. Here, every year, starting in May, a spontaneous tent camp appears, where informals and creative individuals who love this type of recreation gather. There is also a nudist beach nearby, but this is for very big exotic lovers, so it is not recommended to go there with children.
It is recommended for all visitors to Tuapse to explore the Snake Gorge. It is located on picturesque green hills, and in itself is incredibly beautiful. Cape Kadosh Beach
The village with the same name is located in the west relative to Tuapse. We have already mentioned that the further west you go, the closer you are to untouched nature. The main southern trees that make up the forests are hornbeam and beech. In addition, you will be able to look at Mount Kiseleva and the Mouse Holes from an interesting angle. The high steep cliffs are literally planted with greenery, and forest paths run along them. If you want to stay “savage”, then you can find a parking lot nearby for setting up a tent camp.

There are three museums in the city:
- Tuapse Museum of Local Lore named after Poletaev. It provides complete information about the history and development of the city.

The second name is the Rock of Tears, as there is a beautiful legend about the love of the girl Guash from a rich family and the poor horseman Dysheek. The girl's parents forbade her to meet her fiancé. Fleeing from the chase arranged by Guasha's father, Dysheyek fell from a cliff into the sea right in front of his beloved. For a long time she came to this place to mourn her beloved. And then, unable to live any longer without Dysheek, she threw herself into the depths of the sea. The Kiselev Rock was named later when the famous painter Kiselyov depicted it in his painting “The Rock of Tears”. This place is located 4 km from the city. You can get here with a boat tour. Waterfalls
The unique and most beautiful attractions in Tuapse are its numerous waterfalls.
- The largest is the Perun waterfall (water falls from a height of 33 meters). Getting there is easy. You need to take the train to Dachnaya station. - Waterfalls on the Gryaznaya River (“Fan”, “Change” and others). You need to get to the village of Sadovoye, and from there it’s another 13-14 km to the waterfalls. Such a hike takes the entire daylight hours, but gives a lot of positive emotions and impressions.
- "Blue" waterfalls. They were named so due to the layers of blue clay that come to the surface and give the water a special hue. You will need to take a bus to the village of Indyuk, and from there it will take about 1.5 hours to walk to the waterfalls.
You can go on a tour to the waterfalls or go on your own. It’s easy to get to nearby stations and villages (from the train station by train or regular bus), so we advise you to give preference to an independent hike. Kiselev's Rock
This natural monument of Tuapse became known throughout Russia thanks to three paintings by Russian artist Alexander Kiselev. “The Outskirts of Tuapse”, “Descent to the Sea”, “Kadosh Rocks” brought the artist, who lived at the turn of the 19th – 20th centuries, the fame of a marine painter, and the smooth-walled rock became the calling card of Tuapse. Rosmorport Tower
