Sights of Mikhailov
The best place to start getting to know Mikhailov is from the historical center - Marshal Golikov Street. history museum
is located here .
It features exhibitions dedicated to the ancient history of the city, the Middle Ages, the Great Patriotic War and the Soviet period.
Nearby at the intersection with Pronskaya Street on Red (formerly Cathedral) Square you can see a memorial sign. Archangel Cathedral stood here from the 16th to the 20th centuries.
.
Over its four-hundred-year history, it was rebuilt several times, the last time this happened at the end of the 19th century, when the temple was rebuilt according to the design of the architect K. Ton.
However, in 1936 the cathedral was demolished; today its model can be seen in the local history museum. Currently, work is underway to restore the temple.
Literally a few steps from the square there is an architectural monument of the 18th century - Tax Izba
.
Initially, the treasury was located here, where taxes were collected, then the building changed owners several times and today belongs to the museum, which is raising funds for its restoration.
Nearby in the park on Cathedral Hill there is a monument to Archangel Michael
, the heavenly patron of the city.
This is the work of sculptor Oleg Sedov. Across the road you can see another monument - a memorial to those who fell in the Great Patriotic War and a T-34 tank
.
This is a real fighting vehicle that took part in the battles of Prokhorovka, in the battles for the liberation of Prague and in the storming of Berlin. By the way, the monument offers a magnificent view of Mikhailov.
Another attraction of the city center is the bridge over the Pronya River
. It was built in 1898 according to the design of the architect A. Bantle.
It is notable because it is riveted and constructed from large metal parts. In addition, traces of shells from the Great Patriotic War period remained on its supports. Currently the bridge is pedestrian.
The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is also noteworthy.
- an architectural monument of federal significance. Built at the end of the 18th century, it was originally part of the Nativity of the Mother of God Monastery, which was later abolished.
During the years of Soviet power it was closed and used as a salt warehouse; at the end of the 20th century it was handed over to believers.
Next door on Pronskaya Street there is a former district zemstvo building
, and currently it houses the city administration. The construction dates back to 1912, the architect is A. Bantle.
This is a striking example of provincial modernism; on the walls of the building you can see the Mikhailov coat of arms and other decorative elements.
Not far from here, on the banks of the Leshchinsky stream, there is the “Blue Mountain” settlement.
- archaeological monument of the 12th-14th centuries. In this place there was a settlement of the Vyatichi Slavs before it was plundered by the Mongol-Tatar hordes. Archaeological finds from the settlement can be seen in the local history museum.
A few kilometers from Mikhailov there is another interesting place - the Intercession Convent
. It was founded in 1507 near Ryazan (now in that place the village of Agro-Pustyn), and in 1819 it was moved to Mikhailov. In the 20th century, the monastery was completely destroyed; its restoration is currently underway.
Another monument of religious architecture is the Church of the Nativity of Christ
on Prudskaya street. The temple on this site existed for a long time, and at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries it was rebuilt in stone in the provincial Baroque style.
It was not closed under Soviet rule, which is why it is well preserved. Today it is the cathedral of the Ryazan and St. Michael's diocese.
There is another interesting place on Truzhenits Street - the Mikhailovsky Lace Museum
. Here you can see both the works of local craftswomen and samples of bobbins from different countries.
In addition, guests are invited to take part in lace-making workshops. The museum operates at the Mikhailovskaya Lacemaker factory, which continues the traditions of the local unique artistic craft.
In the Mikhailovsky district on the banks of the Lubyanka River there is a unique monument - the Lubyanskoye ancient settlement
, striking in its size. Here in ancient times stood a city that perished in 1237 during the invasion of Batu. It has not yet been possible to establish what kind of city this was, but it is believed that this is the famous chronicle Belgorod.
Another ancient settlement - Izheslavl
— is located on the banks of the Prony River near the village of the same name. It is believed, but not proven, that the ancient Izheslavets stood on this site, destroyed by Batu.
The settlement is notable for its three rows of ramparts and ditches, which indicates the reliable fortification of the city, which, unfortunately, did not save it from ruin. In addition to being historical, the place has natural value: many rare plants grow here.
Not far from the village of Krasnaya Gorka, Mikhailovsky district, you can see the beautiful estate of A.P. Ermolov
, one of the favorites of Catherine II. Of the buildings here, the Kazan Church, the round barnyard and the manor house itself have been preserved, but its interior decoration has been lost.
Now the estate is part of the courtyard of the Sretensky Monastery, so access to it is limited.
There is another ancient estate in the Mikhailovsky district, which, unfortunately, is in ruins. This is the estate of landowner Gagarin
, located in the village of the Central Branch of the State Farm named after. Ilyich.
Two outbuildings, the ruins of a church and stables have survived to this day. The manor house itself was lost; it housed a school until the end of the 20th century; after its closure, the building was dismantled. The distillery that previously operated here has also been lost, but the alcohol storage facility has been preserved.
Childhood and family
Stas Mikhailov was born on April 27, 1969 in the Sochi family of Vladimir Borisovich and Lyudmila Vasilievna. At that time, the couple had a seven-year-old son, Valera. The future star’s mother worked as a nurse in the gynecological department, and her father was a pilot. Stas and Valera will become close friends in the future.
The Mikhailov family was far from show business and celebrity parties. As teenagers, she and her brother wore the same pair of shoes.
As a child, the future artist became interested in sports. Fifth-grader Stas even decided to monitor his own weight. However, home-cooked food often conflicted with the sports diet. However, this did not stop him from pulling himself together and, by the age of 17, receiving a second adult rank. As a teenager, Mikhailov played basketball and even judo. The singer will continue to have a passion for sports into adulthood.

After graduating from school, Stas Mikhailov entered the Belarusian State Aviation Academy (BSAA). The guy was captivated by the romance of flying, and he also hoped to continue the family tradition. After all, not only his father was a pilot, but also his older brother. The latter will show the future star the first chords on the guitar, after which he will become interested in music.
The young man was expelled from the BGAA six months later. He quickly realized that aviation was not for him. Stas Mikhailov returned home and got a job as a loader. The young man was very ashamed of such work. Often, going out into the city on errands, the young man was afraid to meet acquaintances and friends. Later he is drafted into the army, where, thanks to his driving experience, he quickly becomes the boss's personal driver.

Wives and children
The personal life of Stas Mikhailov is no less intense than his work. At the moment, the artist is married for the third time. The unknown Stas Mikhailov met his first wife Inna Gorb in the mid-90s. The young people not only signed at the registry office, but got married in the church. In 2001, the couple had a son, Nikita. However, the family could not keep the man from his dream. Mikhailov is still trying to get through to the listener. Behind him is work at the Moscow Variety Theater, and before his eyes is a big dream - a solo career.
Mikhailov is again trying to conquer Moscow. For a long time, Inna has been visiting her husband in the capital. According to insiders, omissions between the spouses began against the backdrop of fans of his work who appeared next to Stas. Inna can't stand it and files for divorce. The singer dedicated the song “Well, that’s all” to the separation from his first wife.
The next woman in Stas Mikhailov’s life was Natalya Zotova, the cousin of singer Valeria. The future favorite of millions met her already in Moscow. The girl was a backing vocalist in his musical group. The couple never got married, but their relationship is evidenced by the birth of a girl. It will be a long time before the artist acknowledges paternity.
Stas Mikhailov left Natalya before the birth. Her celebrity sister and her husband Joseph Prigogine helped her get back on her feet. The girl was named Dasha. The singer did not recognize her as his child for seven years. However, as soon as he saw her, the artist’s heart thawed. However, this did not prompt Mikhailov to return to his former common-law wife.
The singer met his second wife Inna Mikhailova in a restaurant where he was relaxing with friends. The music was turned on in the hall, the girl came out to dance. Stas, passing by, was fascinated by the stranger’s shape and lightly pinched her waist. A humorous conversation ensued between Stas and Inna, which would develop into a serious relationship, and then into an official marriage.

Both were over 30 and each had two children. Moreover, Inna at that time was still married to football player Andrei Kanchelskis. Insiders claim that Inna’s meeting with Stas came at a time when the athlete’s career began to decline. Before this, her husband’s work fed and clothed Inna, and she became accustomed to luxury. Professional problems allegedly ruined their relationship. So Inna found herself in the arms of the idol of millions of women.
Other sources claim that at the time of meeting his future wife, Stas Mikhailov lived in a small apartment. But Inna, being the wife of a professional football player, is accustomed to a high standard of living. Nevertheless, the woman preferred the artist.
The couple met in 2006, but registered their relationship only in 2011. The wedding took place in France, in the 16th century castle of Esclimon. However, the first fruit of Stas and Inna’s love was born back in 2009. The girl was named Ivanna, and the daughter born a year later was named Maria. Stas Mikhailov's children grow up in modesty. Girls are sincerely happy to receive simple gifts like an ordinary doll.
According to the father of the family, he really does not want his children to grow up spoiled. At the same time, the artist notes that he does not forget to please his offspring from time to time. In the meantime, the youngest of Stas Mikhailov’s six children are busy with toys, and the elders are building their own relationships, the singer himself tours the world, writes songs and gives love to millions of listeners.
Music
In 1992, Mikhailov went to Moscow, where he was again forced to start a business related to video cassettes. But he did not forget about art - in the capital Stanislav wrote the famous song “Candle”, which listeners became acquainted with much later. Together with the performers of the Variety Theater, the vocalist traveled around Russia, never ceasing to write lyrics and cherishing the dream of recording his own disc.
The album “Candle” was released to the world in 1997, and tracks from it began to be played on the recently opened radio station “Petrograd - Russian Chanson”. The first record was not popular, but the song of the same name “Candle” very quickly sank into the souls of listeners. But this was not enough for success, and the singer and his family left for Sochi.
In 2000, Mikhailov finally moved to Moscow, where he began recording new works and preparing the next disc. The first sign of fame was the composition “Without You,” which was successfully played on the radio.

In 2004, the disc “Call Signs for Love” was released, which included the hit “Without You.” The musician’s popularity skyrocketed; Stanislav’s compositions were played every hour on Radio Chanson. In the same year, the shooting of a video clip for the track “Half” took place, after which Mikhailov was seen and heard on television.
Stas's concerts brought together full houses of enthusiastic fans at the St. Petersburg Oktyabrsky Concert Hall and at the Cosmos Hotel in Moscow in 2006. At the end of the year, Mikhailov released the album “Shores of Dreams,” which was also favorably received by the public, and the song of the same name occupied the top positions on the radio charts for a long time.

In 2009, Mikhailov received the title “Artist of the Year” from Radio Chanson. In the same year, Stanislav received the 2nd Golden Gramophone award for the track “Between Heaven and Earth.” The first soloist was awarded a year earlier for the work “On Thin Ice.”

The new “Golden Gramophone” ended up in the musician’s hands thanks to the composition “Let Go,” created in collaboration with Ukrainian singer Taisiya Povaliy. In the same year, the performer was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
2016 turned out to be a fruitful year for Mikhailov in terms of music videos. The vocalist, together with rapper Zhigan, surprised fans by recording the single “Love-Anesthesia” in a duet. Soon the musicians released a video. Although some fans scolded the stars for the abundance of simple effects, many appreciated the footage of a rose flying into pieces, frozen in liquid nitrogen. At the same time, a number of Stanislav’s hits were released, including “Summer Girl” and “Autumn is Dancing.”

In addition, in 2016, Stas Mikhailov presented a concert program called “People’s Corporate Party - 2”. The soloist performed both old songs beloved by the public and presented several new ones, including the composition “There, Beyond the Horizon.” The special guest of the show at the Olimpiyskiy was the popular singer Zara.
The year 2017 was marked in the artist’s career with the release of his 12th album, “You Are Everything.” It’s not hard to guess that the maestro once again dedicated his new creation to the theme of love. The track “Don’t Call, I Can’t Hear” turned out to be bright and memorable, which the vocalist presented in a duet with Elena Sever. And together with Alexander Kogan, Mikhailov recorded the song “God Give Us.”
Subsequently, Stanislav increasingly collaborated with colleagues. So, in 2019, Mikhailov recorded compositions with ]Sergei Zhukov[/anchor] and Tamara Gverdtsiteli. And in September 2020, fans saw the colorful video “Take My Hand,” released with Artik & Asti. In the video, Anna Dzyuba appeared in the form of a golden figurine.

On October 30, 2021, Stas Mikhailov presented the 13th album “The Sixth Sense” to the public. The musician promised fans “a whole range of emotions and sensations” while listening. The surprise song “Barracuda” was also included on the disc.

With the help of heartfelt texts of average height (178 cm), a man with no outstanding appearance turned out to be the object of dreams of the fair sex throughout the entire post-Soviet space.
The lion's share of Mikhailov's fans are middle-aged and older women. The number of Stanislav’s fans is so great that they joked about it more than once in KVN and other humorous programs. The artist’s contribution to modern Russian culture is recognized not only by admirers, but also by the jury of prestigious music awards.

At the same time, the singer’s work is subject to numerous criticism. Experts often accuse Mikhailov of the fact that the soloist achieved popularity not through talent, but through appealing to lonely and unhappy ladies, to whom the idol promises love from the stage and actually manipulates his fans. The press often hears accusations of Stanislav being vulgar, mediocrity, imitating other stars like Elvis Presley, and, moreover, lacking a vocal gift.
The fact that Mikhailov's range is small is also recognized by the performer's admirers. But positive critics are confident that Stanislav wisely chose the right niche and works professionally in it, and makes up for musical shortcomings with the quality of lyrics and artistry.
Family tragedy
In the late 80s, Stas Mikhailov lost his older brother. He dies in a plane crash. The young man will search for the body of the deceased along with rescuers. According to the artist’s recollections, he was never able to find the entire remains. What was left of Valera was placed in the coffin. At the time of his death he was only 27 years old. The tragedy will leave an indelible mark on Stas. Having gained fame, he dedicated several songs to the death of his beloved brother: “Helicopter” and “Brother.”
Devoted fans of Stas Mikhailov's work know that there is not a concert at which the singer would not perform a composition about the death of Valera. According to the star’s recollections, his brother’s coffin made him think about his own future. A very young boy realized the transience of the time allotted to a person and decided to change his life.

Stas Mikhailov enters the Tambov Institute of Culture. However, he did not study there for long and soon returned home to Sochi. In one of his future interviews, Mikhailov admits that he left his studies because of the need to earn money.
How it all began
Stanislav Vladimirovich was born in the city of Sochi. His father worked as a pilot, his mother as a nurse. The older brother taught Stas to play the guitar. The boy’s studies were not going well; as soon as he started going to music school, he stopped attending.
However, at the age of 15 he became second in the regional song competition. Brother Valery followed in his father's footsteps, and Stanislav also went to flight school. But the profession of a pilot was not interesting to him, and the young man dropped out of school. At home, before being drafted into the army, he worked as a loader. Stanislav did his military service in Rostov-on-Don. Afterwards he entered the Institute of Culture in Tambov. Without finishing it, he returned to his hometown and began to work.
In Sochi, he worked in a video store, a recording studio, and sang in restaurants. He became famous in his native land. In 1992, Mikhailov decided to move to the capital, which did not welcome him with open arms. I tried to earn extra money by delivering cassettes, acted in plays, and wrote the song “Candle.” He participated in festivals, but his work went unnoticed. To release his first album, he went to St. Petersburg in 1996. The debut album did not turn out to be profitable, Stas was forced to return to Sochi. He will settle in Moscow after 2000.
