Night is approaching, the city falls asleep and... Not Sochi! Sochi, like Moscow, never sleeps. And if you are used to going to bed after sunset, we advise you to change your habits for a while. Otherwise, you'll miss sights you won't see during the day. For example, fountains with magical lighting. Or amazing views of the evening city in lights.

Taxi in Sochi
In the evening and at night, you may need a taxi to get to your planned holiday destination. It is worth noting that a Sochi taxi costs approximately 200-300 rubles when it comes to traveling around the city.
To get to the airport (or from it to Sochi) you will be charged about 800 rubles. Therefore, the inflated price for taxi services is just an attempt to make money on visitors. Be carefull! It is better to order a taxi by phone or on the Internet.
Walk through the evening city
We hope we convinced you and instead of sleeping you decided to go for a walk. If you are vacationing in Sochi together with your loved one, add romance to your trip. Walk along the Morskaya Embankment. The fresh salty air, the smells of flowers and the sunset over the sea will add bright colors to your overall collection of impressions.
Another beautiful embankment - Primorskaya
. It stretches over the sea and gives beautiful views and privacy to everyone who finds itself on it. Of course, there are passers-by here too. But their number is much smaller than on the central streets of the city.
For those who prefer noise and bright lights, there is a pedestrian street Navaginskaya
. The flow of tourists here does not dry out even at night. And the cafes and bars surrounded by greenery will make your walk easy and serene. There is also an illuminated bicycle path and wheeled vehicle rental.

Cafe "Sit down and eat"
This is a very cheap cafe. More like a dining room. But an excellent option for those who are not looking for luxurious service and gourmet dishes.
Everything is very simple, even somewhat Soviet. For 300-400 rubles. It’s quite possible to have dinner together. This amount will include soup (two servings), second course (two servings) and two cups of tea.
As for the menu, it’s traditional Russian cuisine. Here you will find borscht, cabbage soup, fish soup, cutlets, mashed potatoes, pasta, etc. By the way, the reviews for this cafe are quite decent. Among visitors, this canteen is in demand as a place where you can quickly and inexpensively have a meal.
Address:
Sochi, st. Kostromskaya, 67
Restaurant "Dream"
This restaurant attracts and captivates with the view that opens from the veranda and from the windows of the establishment. Embankment, sound of the sea and fresh air.
It is unlikely that you will be able to have a quick snack. The service here is very slow, as they say - with feeling, sense, and arrangement. However, the establishment is precisely designed to spend an evening here in pleasant company, and not to hastily throw in dinner.
The atmosphere is welcoming, the music is soft and pleasant. Prices, of course, in this restaurant are higher than in the previous cafe. You will have to go broke for about 1000 rubles. But the menu spoils you with choice: European, Russian and Japanese cuisines. There are inexpensive dishes, and there are unusual ones for gourmets and connoisseurs.
The establishment is open:
until 2 a.m.
Telephone: Address:
Sochi, Moskvina st. 2.
Cafe "Marusya"
How does Serbian cuisine differ from Russian? You will find the answer in this establishment. There is a wide selection of dishes from Serbia.
Cooked to perfection! A hearty dinner for one person will cost from 1000 to 2000 rubles. The restaurant is located away from roads and noisy places. Here you can have a great time with your family or arrange a romantic date with your other half.
Visitors note the politeness and courtesy of the staff, elegant interior and musical accompaniment.
The cafe is open:
until 23 o'clock
Phone: Address:
Sochi, st. Krasnoarmeyskaya 25/2.
Cafe "Nippon House"
Behind the foreign name of the restaurant there is only a cafe of Japanese cuisine. One of the popular places in Sochi for those who cannot spend a day without sushi and rolls.
The food here is tasty and relatively inexpensive (the average bill is 1000 rubles). However, the cross-country ability is great. In the evening and lunchtime, you may have to wait for free seats.
Is this Japanese restaurant open?
until midnight

Sochi, st. Vorovskogo 36.
Singing Fountains
You can't leave Sochi without seeing its main attraction. Therefore, if you do not plan to stay here forever, take an evening to explore the fountains.
Originally the most famous singing and dancing fountains
were located on Platanovaya Alley of Kurortny Prospekt. Jets of water moved to classical music, accompanied by glowing lights. The most interesting thing is that the movements were unique and were not repeated throughout the evening. Fountains can be found here and now. However, they have now lost the title of main attraction to the Olympic Park fountain.
Visit the “Singing Fountains” show at the Olympic Stadium, which traditionally attracts many spectators. If you arrive here at 18:00-19:00 you will see fireworks from streams of light and water. The action will unfold in a haze of light fog to the music of Russian composers. The show schedule depends on the time of year (in summer from 20:30, in winter from 18:00, in the off-season from 19:00). Also, the start time is affected by weather conditions, so it is better to check the schedule the day before.

Dolmens of Greater Sochi

Dolmens of Greater Sochi
Dolmens are unique structures. Their weight reaches 70 tons, while the plates are connected to each other without any gaps. There is still debate about the purpose of dolmens, but most scientists believe that they were built for the burial of ancient people. Many dolmens still keep unusual drawings and patterns on their walls, so if you want to feel the atmosphere of antiquity, be sure to visit this monument of millennia.
The most famous dolmen in Sochi, the Volkonsky dolmen, is located in the village of Volkonka, not far from the route along which intercity buses run.
From the Sochi railway station to the Glinishche stop in the village of Volkonka, bus No. 155 runs. The distance between the two points is 58 kilometers. Next, from the Glinishte stop to the Volkonsky dolmen, you need to follow the signs. You will have to walk about 400 meters.
You can also get to the village of Volkonka by train, which runs from Sochi to Lazarevskoye and back.
The Volkonsky dolmen is located on the territory of the Sochi National Park, so you will have to pay for entry (100 rubles per person).
Navalishchenskoye Gorge

Navalishchenskoye Gorge
This gorge existed during the Jurassic period, when dinosaurs roamed its slopes. Huge stones, a waterfall, cliffs, an abundance of relict plants - this attraction in the vicinity of Sochi was created on an incredible scale by nature itself. If you want to feel like the hero of a Spielberg film, this is definitely the place for you.
Getting to the gorge on your own is not difficult. In Khosta you need to take bus 128, which in 20 minutes will take you to the village of Krasnaya Volya (about 4 km). Further from Lesnaya Street, a dirt road begins, along which you need to walk about 800 meters to the barrier.
Ticket prices: adults 200 rubles, children 100 rubles.
Vorontsov caves

Vorontsov caves
Another natural attraction of Sochi that interested tourists cannot pass by. The length of the caves is almost 12 km, so we do not recommend going on the journey without a guide.
The most convenient way to visit the Vorontsov Caves is with an excursion - in this case you can learn much more interesting things and get there comfortably by tourist bus.
You can go on your own: bus No. 127 runs from Khosta to the village of Vorontsovka. From Sochi and Adler you can get to Khosta by train (Khosta railway station stop) or bus (Khosta Most stop). Vorontsovskaya cave is located 3 km from Vorontsovka - then you will need to climb the mountain on foot. The intervals of bus No. 127 are 1.5 hours, there is no exact schedule.
Opening hours of the Vorontsov Caves: from 10:00 to 18:00 without breaks and weekends.
Entrance to the national park: 100 rubles - adults, 50 rubles - children under 12 years old.
Mount Akhun

Mount Akhun
You can take unique photos from your Sochi trip from the observation tower on Mount Akhun. It is better to go in the evening to admire the sunset and incredible panorama of the sea.
If you want to get to the place on your own, you need to take city bus No. 2 to the Maly Akhun Microdistrict stop, and then walk to the top of the mountain. You will have to walk about 8 km, but you will remember the impressions of the surrounding views for a lifetime. We recommend stocking up on drinking water and wearing comfortable shoes.
Entrance to the observation deck (tower) is 200 rubles, children under 7 years old are free. The tower is open to the public daily from 9.00 to 21.00.
Agur waterfalls

Agur waterfalls
It’s better if you set aside at least half a day to visit the Agura waterfalls, so that you can leisurely walk up the Agura River to the Eagle Rocks past all three waterfalls. At the end of the path you will find gazebos and benches with views of the mountains and the sea, and from here you can take a taxi to the city or walk to the village of Matsesta (20 minutes) and take a regular bus. Don't forget to bring comfortable shoes - the walk will take about four hours.
You can get to the place by bus No. 2 or minibus No. 48 to the Sputnik stop. Next you need to walk along Agur Gorge Street for about 15 minutes to the ticket office and the entrance to the route.
Entrance to the waterfalls costs 100 rubles per person. Children under 7 years old have free admission.
Yew-boxwood grove
Residents of big cities will appreciate this natural landmark of Sochi, which arose about 30 million years ago. The air here is healing, and the age of the local flora reaches two thousand years.
You can get to the yew-boxwood grove by any minibus from Sochi or Adler that goes to Khosta and passes the Blue Gorka stop (Khosta-bridge). These are, for example, minibuses 122, 125, 134 and buses 4 and 4c. From the stop you will have to walk about 15 minutes along an asphalt road to the entrance to the reserve. You can also take the train to Khosta, and then walk to the entrance to the park (the journey will take about half an hour).
Ticket price: 300 rubles per adult, 150 rubles per child 7-12 years old. Children under 7 years old enter free of charge.
Sochi National Park

Sochi National Park
Here you can see with your own eyes how lush subtropics juxtapose with majestic snow-capped peaks. The park is home to lynxes, brown bears, deer, otters, badgers, martens and about 70 other species of mammals. Its territory is so huge that it is hardly possible to walk around the entire park in a week.
The park can be reached by public transport: many minibuses go there (105, 105с, 125п, 125с, 125, 124с). You will need to get off at the Maly Akhun stop and walk to the entrance. Admission fee: 200 rubles per person.
Observation platforms
Evening Sochi blooms with many lights. Look at them from above, it's unforgettable!
The cable cars of the Rosa Khutor ski resort are open until 23:00. From above you can admire the snow-capped mountains and beautiful lighting. If seascapes are dearer to your heart, go to the Oblaka restaurant
(Vinogradnaya st., 20A). It stands right on the shore. And its panoramic windows offer breathtaking views of the sea.
You can see the mountains, sea and city from a bird's eye view at the same time on one of the highest Ferris wheels
in Russia (Adler, Gogol str., 1). The 50-meter-high attraction makes a revolution in 25 minutes. The Ferris wheel operates all year round and provides unforgettable experiences and photographs.

14. Skypark
Skypark in Sochi is the first and only high-altitude extreme adventure park in Russia. His ideological inspiration was extreme sportsman Alan Hackett from New Zealand, who opened several bungee jumping points in different countries of the world. Let's say a few words about bungee jumping, if you are still not familiar with it: daredevils who dare to take on this mind-blowing entertainment are tied to a long elastic cable and thrown from a great height into a free fall. In the Sochi Skypark, such jumps are made from the Skybridge Bridge, one of the highest in the world. Two jumping platforms are located at an altitude of 69 and 207 meters: after such a crazy flight, many extreme sports enthusiasts claim that it is as if they were born again! In addition to wild jumps into the abyss, the skypark offers its fearless visitors a ride on the Mega Troll attraction, the fastest troll in the world. An open trailer, sliding along a metal cable, rushes at a dizzying speed of 120 km/h over the abyss of the Akhshtyr Gorge. Not everyone is able to overcome their fear and experience a mad surge of adrenaline on the rides of the skypark. But if you still decide to do this, your courage is worthy of admiration!
Night life
You shouldn’t expect Sochi’s nightclubs to have the scale and scope of their Moscow “colleagues”. And that’s not what they come here for at all. It has a relaxed resort town atmosphere. And many clubs are located near the beaches.
So, the Malibu
(Primorskaya St. 3A) attracts visitors with the scenery of a tropical island and sea views. There are bars, a restaurant with European cuisine, a dance floor and a VIP area.
Navaginskaya Street is also famous for its entertainment venues. There are karaoke clubs, bars and cafes here. And in the Mayak cabaret
Every evening they welcome lovers of karaoke, mafia and striptease.
If you want a more sophisticated environment, go to Nebar
(Riviersky Lane, 5A). There is face control here, preventing visitors in beachwear and sneakers from entering.
Billiards and bowling
However, if you are not a fan of active recreation on skiing or skating, but would not mind playing another game of billiards or bowling, then hurry to the Gladiator club.

Now let's move on to the rest, where entry for children is already prohibited. So, Sochi is famous for its bars. Many of them have a thematic focus. There are more expensive ones, and there are simpler ones.
So:
Bar "London".
Quite a pompous place. There is a huge selection of expensive, elite alcoholic drinks, cigars, and an upscale menu.
But the prices are a little bit steep. However, for those who are ready to fork out for a vacation, it is quite affordable. In addition, you will be pleased with the stylish interior and design of the room.

"ABBA Bar".
This is a place for those who remember the famous ABBA four and are nostalgic for the past. An excellent place where the crowd is usually in their mid-thirties.
Prices are above average. At the same time, there is an excellent menu (restaurant level), a rich wine list and a cozy atmosphere.

Bar "Cocos".
This bar is perfect for a noisy young group to relax. Rocking music all night long.
Cheerful bartenders and an amazing (by its names) wine list. Regulars of the bar recommend that you try the alcoholic cocktail with the original name “Uncle Chernomor”.

Bar "Juan Ivanovich".
This is worth a visit if you like to dance and have fun with all your heart. Excellent selection of music, humorous presenters, competitions.
In other words, you won’t be able to sit on the sidelines at the bar. Here you will be spun in the rhythm of a reckless holiday.
Advice - if you are hoping to have a tasty and relaxed meal, this bar is not the place. But you’re welcome to rock out all night!

Well, if you are looking for something hotter in the cold winter, then you can go to a strip club. Among all similar establishments, this is the most popular.

Life hacks for tourists
Evening is the best time to go to Sochi Park (Olympiysky Prospekt, 21). By the end of the day there are much fewer visitors and you can visit the attractions without queues. The park is open until 22:00.
Sochi park. Photo: @elsavina24
If you decide to walk late, think in advance about how to get to the hotel later. Minibuses and city buses in Sochi stop running around 22:00-22:30 hours. After this time, you will have to travel by taxi. We recommend using federal services instead of private ones. It is also a good idea to rent a car. You can move anywhere you want at any time.
