The most interesting monument in Shadrinsk is the sculptural composition “Old Town”. However, another unofficial name of the composition is better known - the monument to the Shadrinsky goose. It can be seen near the building of the local history museum. The opening of the monument took place in 2008; this is the first work of small architectural forms in this city. The founding date of the museum is considered to be 1918. The founding father of this landmark of Shadrinsk is a passionate local historian, Vladimir Biryukov. The exhibition was based on historically interesting items collected here by the efforts of the Siberian people. The museum collection includes more than sixty thousand items of varying value. The museum is open daily, except Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The legendary museum exhibits of Shadrinsk include a rare samovar in the shape of an open flower, an oriental Buddha made of gilded bronze, a watch of the merchant of the second guild Leshchev, a sketch of the “Dying Gladiator” dated 1856. Cathedrals and churches

There are two churches and one cathedral on the territory of Shadrinsk. Each temple has more than a hundred years of history. The Transfiguration Cathedral was opened in 1777. The Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker appeared in the city in 1796. During the revolution, the church had to be completely abolished. At the end of the 8th century, a church in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker was built at the expense of parishioners. The temple is stone, two-level, has six thrones, a three-tiered bell tower, and is made in the style of classicism.
