Hot key how to get to the resort, what to see, when to go

There are different names for this park - “Mountain”, “Healing”, “Sanatorium”

The resort park of the city of Goryachy Klyuch is surrounded by greenery, tall trees everywhere create shade and coolness. Despite the fact that the park is located close to the road, there is clean and fresh air. The park contains several beautiful attractions and a mineral water gallery. A separate advantage is that the Resort Park is located just an hour’s drive from Krasnodar.

Conventionally, the park can be divided into two parts - the one on the right is more calm, the left is full of retail outlets, souvenir shops, children's entertainment and is generally more crowded.

The right side of the Resort Park

It is here that there are large spreading trees and paths through the forest. From here there is access to the park's attractions - Dante's Gorge and the top of the Cockerel rock.

To get to this part of the park - after you cross the bridge, head towards Danto's Gulch, moving upward.

Iverskaya Chapel, Goryachiy Klyuch

This part of the park gradually leads uphill, but here you can feel like you are in a real forest. Of the minuses, it is worth noting that in some places there are no paths. There are curbs, but no paths. It is also worth considering that if you are traveling with infants, then with a stroller you will only be able to get to Dante’s Gorge.

Such paths are discussed above

Attractions of this part of the park

Iveron Chapel

A little higher, carved right into the rock, is the Iveron Chapel, built in honor of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God. Inside the chapel the icon itself, the faces of the Messiah and saints are kept. Every Friday, a solemn morning service is performed in front of the image of the Mother of God. Next to the chapel there is a spring consecrated in the name of the healer Panteleimon. According to local legend, its water has healing rejuvenating properties.

Iverskaya Chapel, Goryachiy Klyuch

Literally right behind the chapel, Dante's Gorge begins.

Dante's Gorge

This is the most picturesque part of the park. Its walls are covered with moss, and small streams flow down the rocks. The route passes along a stone staircase, which was cut into the rock by local residents back in the 19th century.

Rock Cockerel

Another beautiful natural attraction of the park is the Cockerel rock, which is located on the bank of Psekups. This is a sheer rock 28 meters high, its top consists of six teeth and resembles a cockscomb. The rock can be viewed both from below and from above. From the top there is a beautiful panorama of the river and surrounding area. If you go to the left of the rock towards the forest, you will see a small waterfall, the Devil's Mouth, although in the summer it almost always dries up.

About holidays in Goryachy Klyuch and more

This time the vacation fell in September and my husband and I decided to combine business with pleasure, i.e. use the services of a sanatorium and at the same time visit unfamiliar places.

I should immediately note that you can click on any photo in the article and it will appear on top of the text in a large format with a caption.

Initially, our choice fell on the KVM region - Caucasian Mineralnye Vody, namely the city of Pyatigorsk. Back in the spring, we chose a sanatorium and drew up a rough vacation plan. However, in the summer we decided that we would like to swim in the sea, so our plan changed and the choice fell on the small town of Goryachiy Klyuch, located in the foothills of the Caucasus.

This city is one of the five cleanest cities in the world, is famous for its mineral water sources, has a 150-year resort history and is located 60 km from the sea. Since we are traveling by car, this was the ideal option: a holiday in a calm resort town with periodic trips to the sea suited us very well.

The road to Goryachiy Klyuch took 1.5 days and at 15.00 on the second day we were already at the administrator of the Goryachiy Klyuch sanatorium.

I note that the trip by car was quite comfortable thanks not only to the good quality of the roads (not without flaws, of course, but only in places), but also to the convenient service at large gas stations, where you can relax comfortably in cozy cafes designed for these purposes and having everything necessities (toilets, shops, appropriate menu, good coffee, etc.). Choosing a hotel for an overnight stay is also not difficult: they are located almost along the entire M-4 Don highway and include a standard set of services.

So, at the sanatorium we purchased course cards and headed to a pre-booked mini-hotel. This type of recreation and treatment - according to the course, is the most preferable for us: it is much cheaper than buying a ticket to a sanatorium, and gives us more freedom - we are not tied to food, since we constantly travel, besides, we eat in our own way and like it ourselves choose what you like from food.

The hotels here are located in the resort part of the city and this is understandable. The resort part is concentrated at the end of the city (end of Lenin Street), is pedestrian and separated from the city infrastructure, it is like two different areas - the city and the sanatorium area.

We chose the Voyage Hotel, which was located a 2-minute walk from our sanatorium across the road. In addition, it was the last one on Psekupska Street, which ended with the Psekups River; you could walk along the river, cross it and walk on the other side.

We liked the living conditions and the price of the hotel: the room had all the amenities (shower, toilet, air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, wireless Internet), a standard set of furniture, and the hall had an equipped kitchen. The price of accommodation is 1200 rubles, but if you stay more than 3 days, a discount is provided and the cost is already 1000 rubles. per day.

The windows of our room looked out onto the garden, where there grew a huge tree with walnuts, which at that time ripened and constantly fell to the ground, like our apples, and we periodically collected them. This is exotic for us!

Goryachy Klyuch city

Located in the foothills of the Caucasus range. Near Adygea, Krasnodar and the Black Sea (all about an hour's drive). The population is about 33,000 thousand people. The town is small, clean and pleasant, there are no industrial enterprises here, but there are factories producing mineral water (80% of all mineral water in the Krasnodar Territory is produced here).

The city is surrounded by mountains and forests, so the air is filled with silence and healing properties. First of all, it is a drinking and year-round balneological resort.

In the center and a little on the outskirts there are multi-storey buildings, but the main part is cottages. The whole city is surrounded by greenery, especially pleasant is the long pine alley along the central road on Lenin Street, which at the end turns into a sanatorium area and becomes pedestrian. On a hot day, the street is filled with the smell of pine needles and resin.

The pedestrian part of the street, even before the entrance to the sanatorium park, has its own attraction: the small and cozy Park of Stones. Here you can sit and enjoy the rich variety of local flora. The place is cozy and pleasant.

The city center is of course recognizable by the administrative building with the flag of the Russian Federation. Shopping centers and various city offices are concentrated around it. While exploring this part of the city, I wanted to sit in a cafe and drink coffee, but it turned out that there are practically no coffee shops here that we loved - they are all located in the sanatorium area.

However, we were lucky - in a large shopping center there was the only cafe or pizzeria in the entire area (I don’t remember the name), where we ordered a fruit pizza (we didn’t like anything else). Weighing 500 g, it was about 40 cm in diameter - it was so thin. The taste turned out to be amazing: the thinnest crispy sweetish dough, and on top there are very few canned apricots and mascarpone, while the dough remains dry for a long time and does not get wet. We ate a couple of pieces at once with the greatest pleasure. I haven’t had such pleasure from desserts in a cafe for a long time, although I’ve tried a lot. A very simple execution and well-chosen ingredients did their job - the pizza (although it can be called symbolically pizza - it just looks like pizza) turned out to be light, tasty and dietary. I will definitely try to cook something similar at home and share the recipe if it turns out well.

The only central street in the city is Lenina, and it didn’t seem interesting to explore the city any further. True, there is also a city pond with an equipped beach and a children's park.

Separately, I would like to touch on the food topic. Mostly in the stores there are products from Krasnodar producers, the assortment is not bad, but the shelf life of all the dairy products I saw was about a month, which means the composition is not entirely natural. And if I lived here, it would be difficult to choose something - so I thought.

But where do people buy good products? It turned out that on Saturdays not far from us there is a fair from 7 am - smaller local producers of various products come here. Of course, at 7 am on the following Saturday we were here to see and appreciate the local market.

We really liked it: a lot of meat, dairy products, vegetables and fruits. I bought a honey pumpkin here (I haven’t seen this variety here), I’ll try to grow a pumpkin from its seeds at my dacha. Of course, we bought a lot of food items, mainly fruits and vegetables, and were satisfied - the range and prices were normal, we could live.

We were lucky with food - not far from the hotel there was a small cafe-dining room “Traktir” with 5 tables, the food there was decent, the prices were reasonable (a portion of your favorite cheesecakes - 60 rubles, stuffed peppers - 85 rubles), you can make an order for tomorrow, you can take it with you (so we took cheesecakes and had them for breakfast in the morning at the hotel), in a word, there were no problems with food. .

For the first time in Goryachy Klyuch I saw the Grocery Pharmacy store. I really liked the name - it accurately reflects the purpose of the products. There are a lot of useful things here: various oils (we bought hemp), flour (amaranth, hemp, pumpkin - you name it!), brown Krasnodar rice, many types of bran, porridge based on healthy grains and plants and many other products. A good idea is to create a store only from healthy products that give us health! But this is the only way it should be - all products should only be beneficial. I have never seen anything like this in any of the places I have been before.

Sanatorium "Goryachiy Klyuch"

This sanatorium has a history of more than 150 years, here is the only drinking gallery among the city’s sanatoriums (other sanatoriums have pump rooms, but not everywhere) and it was from its sources that the history of the city began - thanks to them it was founded. The sanatorium uses 6 types of mineral water from 17 wells and is considered one of the oldest mineral resorts in the country. That's why we chose this sanatorium.

The sanatorium has a modern hydropathic clinic and a diagnostic and treatment center; there is also a rehabilitation center for patients with heart diseases. There is a small indoor pool, and a large thermal building with outdoor and indoor pools is currently under construction.

Before paying for the course (standard price - 9,000 rubles), you need to visit a doctor who, based on your sanatorium card, together with you will choose a set of procedures for this amount, but more is possible. After this, payment is made, the administrator draws up an individual schedule of treatment visits and you begin your sanatorium life. I would like to note that the procedures take energy and time and should be treated as work. So we went to the sanatorium at 8.30, as if we were going to work, and after 11.30 we were usually free.

Then we learned that you don’t have to buy a course, but go straight to the doctor and buy a set of necessary procedures for any amount.

The sanatorium is located in a large park, along the alley there are recreation areas, kiosks with souvenirs or health products, travel agencies that offer various excursion trips to the local attractions (and there are many of them) and to the sea. All procedures in the sanatorium take place before lunch, so after lunch people have the opportunity to travel and the offered excursions are designed for their regime.

There are many cafes, ice cream and coffee stands in the park - there is always somewhere to have a snack. In a word, all cultural and entertainment life is concentrated here and is naturally designed for vacationers.

In the evening it is very interesting here: people dress up and walk around, and on Fridays a brass band plays. Particularly noteworthy is the colored fountain near the building of the Caucasus Foothills sanatorium - it is located on the same alley not far from the Goryachiy Klyuch sanatorium and is part of the sanatorium part. At Foothills of the Caucasus there is a gym and a tennis table, we went here to play tennis, and there is also a bowling alley.

The fountain attracts you in the evening like a magnet: it seems like nothing special, I’ve seen a lot of fountains, but I don’t want to leave. On a flat surface, made level with the asphalt and not fenced off from it, there are 16 jets in a square (4x4 jets), each of them has several lights, the water is supplied in such a way that it foams like champagne. When water is supplied, this foam glows beautifully, forming a halo of water dust - this is what gives the fountain a special charm. The jets are supplied in different heights and colors; these parameters are constantly changing and the whole process is dynamic. The water in the fountain moves according to the program - this is not a chaotic process, it seems to be dancing, either jumping or squatting smoothly. At this time, pleasant classical music sounds and everything is mesmerizing. People stand, sit or walk around the fountain, children run, sometimes between the streams, trying to guess which stream will supply water after the next pause, they get wet, their parents scold them and take them to change into dry clothes, in a word, life is in full swing.

I was also surprised by the entrance to the Caucasus Foothills building: near the door there is a life-size model of a dog, next to it there is a bowl and a basket with beautiful apples. It turned out that everyone can take the apples, and for this it is advisable to put money in the bowl, as much as you see fit (if you click on the photo, the dog will be visible on the left). As far as we have observed, there are always apples in the basket, although people periodically come up and take them. I don't know why, but it touched me. This can only be observed in Russia.

Attractions

All the attractions of Goryachiy Klyuch are located in the sanatorium part of the city.

The main alley of the sanatorium area turns into the Mountain Park, which leads to Dantovo Gorge, to the Psekups River and the Cockerel Rock.

The mountain park is a continuation of the sanatorium park and is separated from it by a corresponding arch, then the park continues and ends with the Psekups River, which flows perpendicular to the park alley. Actually, the river is the border of Goryachiy Klyuch - beyond the river at a short distance passes the M-4 Don highway.

There is a pedestrian bridge across the river, which is also part of the sanatorium and park area: it is beautifully illuminated in the evenings and offers a wonderful view of the Cockerel rock, which is so named because the top of the rock resembles a cockscomb, although the front part facing the river is quite flat. In the evening, when illuminated, the rock is beautifully reflected in the dark water surface of the river.

Behind the bridge, on the other side, along the river there is also a recreation area. It stretches to the Old Castle, a hotel complex stylized in antique style, located right next to the highway. Along this alley there is a fountain, a mill, souvenir kiosks, cafes, etc. People are constantly walking here, and not only vacationers, but also those passing by on the highway and wanting to relax a little, or hotel residents.

As I already mentioned, the Mountain Park offers a trip to Dante’s Gorge. Along the paths from the park you can go up to the observation deck located at the top of the Cockerel rock and make sure that the top of the rock is really like a ridge, and from there you can walk deeper into the gorge. There are many paths here and you can walk for a long time in different directions without fear of getting lost. Century-old trees provide shade and coolness, as well as a feeling of peace and solitude from the bustle. The numerous steps carved directly into the rock are of interest.

Gebius Falls

Most of all in the Caucasus, I like to visit natural attractions - places whose natural beauty is incomparable to any creations of human hands. The waterfalls are especially fascinating.

Unfortunately, September is not the best month to visit them, since usually at this time the waterfalls are low-water and do not carry as much water as in May - June, which is why they lose some of their power and the resulting impression does not always coincide with expectations, especially if before I looked at advertising brochures with photos.

In our case, this is what happened, but I still don’t regret the time and effort spent.

Gebius Falls are located near the route leading to the sea; there is a parking lot and a route plan.

This is a whole complex of waterfalls, of which there are several, and each can only be reached on foot, sometimes going up or down very steep stairs. The entire route is paved, it is impossible to get lost, dangerous places have restrictions and the path takes about 1.5 hours of walking through the mountainous terrain.

Sea

I especially love the September sea: there are few people on the beach, the sea is always warm at this time, and the time, rich in fruits and vegetables, makes vacation in September the most comfortable.

After the procedures, after resting a bit and having lunch, we often went to the sea. Weekends are an exception - on the way back there are huge traffic jams due to Krasnodar residents returning home from the sea.

The road to the sea ran through a pass and was quite picturesque. Despite the summer weather, the trees had already changed their green color to a lush autumn palette, and the mountain forests located along the road flashed outside the window in all their glory.

In the car on the road, pleasant favorite melodies are heard, the mood is on vacation, the landscape is pleasing to the eye, and it is at such moments that I always want to stop the moment, capture it in my memory, so that later, at home, I can reproduce the whole gamut of pleasant emotions. But it doesn't work. Now I’m writing, I remember this, but the condition itself cannot be returned. We must learn to appreciate such moments in the here and now and try to notice them everywhere, not just on vacation. Our everyday life and bustle eat up this ability to notice the good in the little things nearby, but you can find many such seemingly simple moments in everyday life. This requires Wisdom, which comes only with age and not to everyone.

Inal Bay attracted our attention with a description from which it followed that the water there is particularly blue and clean. A thick layer of healing blue clay comes to the surface here, and at the foot of the clay springs erode, forming lakes in which people take mud baths.

This is where we went for a swim.

The sea was wonderful: warm and calm. The bottom topography was also of interest: there were many large stone blocks at the bottom and you could swim far from the shore, and then find such a stone, stand on it and rest. From time to time we saw people walking around covered in clay, and we wanted to see where this clay was located. Having walked along the coast for about 1 km, we found this place: the rock closest to the sea had a fragile structure and consisted of this clay, and nearby there were puddles - lakes with this clay dissolved in water, in which people were splashing. We collected a bag of dry clay and brought it with us. I would like to note that clay really makes the skin smooth and silky; its composition is even credited with miraculous properties, which I cannot confirm due to my limited experience in using it.

I would like to note that the water here really stands out with a beautiful bluish color, but being on the shore, it is impossible to see this, but from a distance the border in color is very clearly visible.

The bay itself is a geographical concept; there is no settlement in this place, although there are a lot of recreation centers for every taste. There is no urban infrastructure here either, just the sea, there is nowhere to go, so this place is not for everybody.

We always bring hot coasters from the sea. Yes, don't be surprised! A favorite pastime is to find an almost perfect flat and smooth stone on the shore or bottom for a stand. We pile up all the stones we find in the hotel room (I can imagine what the maid is thinking while cleaning!), and then we select the best ones, and our selection process is stormy and emotional, as if something serious is being decided. Then, at home or in the country, looking at such stands, you immediately remember relaxation and your mood improves.

Bread and Wine Museum

One day we stopped in Arkhipo-Osipovka to visit the museum of bread and wine. We turned out to be the only visitors, so we talked more closely with the guide. While tasting Gelendzhik wine (I did it for two – my husband was driving), we asked about powdered wine, which I wrote about in my last vacation report (here). The guide was surprised and replied that this could not be and that every winery in a good year makes reserves of grapes (she used some name for this reserve, but I forgot it) in the form of live grape mass in case of a poor harvest next year, and when wine is made from this mass, they write about it on the bottles. This is normal and generally accepted. So I don’t know for sure yet whether it’s true or not about Phanagoria powder wine and champagne from Abrau-Durso.

The museum is small but very educational. In addition to the working mill, where they show how grain is ground and real whole grain flour is obtained, as it should be, there are a lot of interesting things here: a collection of ancient locks, irons, cameras, televisions, receivers, and various utensils.

I especially liked the plow - I had only seen it in photos before. After all, it was with the plow that our ancestors cultivated the land for hundreds, and maybe thousands of years, and it remained fertile and did not lose this quality. And only with the transition to the plow in the 20th century did everything change, the fertility of the land fell sharply and, as a result, chemical fertilizers were needed, which ruined the soil, the products, and all of us.

And why? Because the plow, as it were, loosens the soil, working only with its top layer, and the moldboard plow changes places, mixing the upper and deeper layers of the soil. Some bacteria and microorganisms useful for farming live in the upper layer, and others (aerobic and anaerobic) live below; when they are mixed with a plow, they die and therefore the soil fertility deteriorates. But the plow did not do this - it loosened only the top layer, leaving everything in its place.

Fortunately, some agronomists already understand the harmfulness of modern agriculture, and some areas of the country have abandoned the plow and fertilizers and already have excellent results in terms of yield and cost. I recommend reading the article “Unplowed Field” about this. At the dacha we also gave up digging and only loosened the soil.

Krasnodar

One Sunday it was raining, and we decided to visit the aquarium in Krasnodar. It is located in the Galaktika shopping and entertainment center.

The capacity of all aquariums here is 1 million cubic meters of water! There are so many people here: sharks swim in a tunnel of water right above your head, you can see them in great detail, moray eels, catfish, piranhas, stellate sturgeon, a huge crab and a host of other ocean inhabitants with complex names. Everything is beautifully designed and very educational.

We don’t like large shopping centers, but this time we had to visit: we learned from the administrator that our favorite green cheese was on sale. This is a cheese seasoning, very tasty, especially good for pasta. We don’t always have it on sale, but it happens in large supermarkets. The cheese is not expensive - about 80 rubles. per pack. I recommend trying it.

Conclusion

The holiday in Goryachy Klyuch was healthy, active and educational. So active that every evening we collapsed from fatigue, as if we were not resting, but doing hard work. And this is understandable: procedures, fresh air, new impressions, physical activity gave such results.

We have never returned to the places where we vacationed before. After all, there is still so much I want to see new, but this time for some reason I’m drawn to return to Goryachy Klyuch. It seems like everyone has seen it, but it drags on. I don’t know how to explain, but I left a piece of my heart or soul in this small resort town, and I’m ready to come here more than once. I think I was captivated by the Spirit of Dante's Gulch.

PS We saw it in Goryachiy Klyuch. It's Russia)))

Left side of the Resort Park

All trade, children's entertainment, a mineral water gallery, as well as numerous sanatoriums are concentrated along this part.

In the center of the park there is a Mineral Glade with wells of local sources of drinking mineral water. In the center of the clearing there is a unique obelisk - a monument to mineral water, they say that this is the only monument in the world in honor of healing “living” water.

Water from the wells flows into the Drinking Gallery, where everyone can drink healing water free of charge and without restrictions. There are taps with warm/cold and salty/unsalted mineral water. Having drunk enough water, you can move on.

You can go down to Psekups and have a picnic on the shore or just take a break after a walk. Those who wish can take a catamaran ride along the river; some even swim here in the warm season.

The park is fully equipped, there are benches, shops, souvenir shops, toilets, kiosks with food and drinks. You can spend a few hours or the whole day here. See all the sights, drink water from the springs, walk along numerous alleys - take a break from the bustle of the city and enjoy nature.

Sights of Goryachiy Klyuch - photos with descriptions

The healing park is one of the main attractions of Goryachiy Klyuch. Broken in 1870. There are no clear boundaries of the park; it merges with the forest, where paths lead from the cultivated part.

The main tourist sites are located in the Healing Park. Of course, you can simply show the sights of Goryachiy Klyuch - the photos speak enough about the beauty of the city. Yes, it’s difficult to get lost, but I’ll still tell you where they are.

How to find the Healing Park. There are several ways. Walk along Lenin Street towards the Caucasus Foothills sanatorium.

Or from the restaurant and hotel complex “Old Castle” from the M4-Don highway.

, the Alley of a Thousand Pines leads to the Healing Park . A 2-kilometer-long pedestrian zone is located on Lenin Street, in the center of the resort area.

The Alley of a Thousand Pines leads to the Healing Park

Immediately outside the entrance to the sanatorium we see an arch in honor of the 140th anniversary of the resort . A jug with flowing water is a symbol of the mineral water resort. This text was stolen from the World Roads website (worldroads.ru)!

The dancing fountain at the Caucasus Foothills sanatorium attracts vacationers in the summer heat. In the evenings it is illuminated with all the colors of the rainbow.

Ginkgo biloba tree. Extremely rare. Long-lived. Lives up to 2.5 thousand years. Ginkgos have been growing on Earth since the time of dinosaurs, and were widespread everywhere. There were especially many of them in the current territory of the Krasnodar Territory. And now they grow only in three places in the world: Japan, Southern China and the Krasnodar Territory.

Ginkgos have been around since the time of dinosaurs.

How to find ginkgo in Goryachy Klyuch: near the right wing of the Caucasus Foothills sanatorium, not far from the White Obelisk.

The White Obelisk is also considered a landmark of Goryachiy Klyuch. Installed for the centenary of the resort, in 1964.

White Obelisk - installed for the 100th anniversary of the Hot Key

Next is the Arch with Lions . Built in 1914, for the 50th anniversary of the resort. Lions appeared later. It is believed that whoever passes through the Arch of Lions will gain health. This is no coincidence, because it is from here that you can get to the health-improving attractions of Goryachy Klyuch: the Drinking Gallery, the Mineral Glade, and health paths.

Arch with lions, bestowing health. 1914

Remember, in front of the Essentuki Mud Bath, lions are depicted as a victory over ailments? But there the symbols of disease are reptiles, here they are wild boars. Unusual, right? Lions once lived in the Caucasus, but wild boars are still found today. But why is the wild boar a symbol of disease?

Lion with a defeated boar

Going further, we see the Wind Rose with the zero kilometer.

From here to Sochi - 124 kilometers, to Kislovodsk - 303 kilometers. From here you can travel throughout the Caucasus.

It’s very close to my other favorite cities

On the right is a small cozy park with fountains and a bridge.

Near the drinking gallery there are sculptures, ponds, fountains

Next - Drinking Gallery . Here you can take healing Psekup mineral waters. There is also a herbal bar.

Gallery opening hours: from 7:00 to 18:40. Break: 14:00 – 15:00.

The water has a very specific taste. We tried it once and didn’t go again. We came for another...

When to go?

You can go to Goryachiy Klyuch at any time. Need to consider:

traditionally, most tourists relax here in the summer, when it’s high season, all the beaches are open, you can eat juicy fruits, and the weather is very warm, the air temperature reaches 30-35 degrees;

In autumn, the weather here remains comfortable until the end of November. The air temperature drops to 5 degrees Celsius; as a rule, it does not drop lower at all, even in winter. Usually, in the fall, tourists have already gone home, so at this time of year the holidays here are especially calm, and no one or nothing will disturb you;

In spring it is also warm here, the temperature reaches 20 degrees. If you are not allergic to flowering plants, then spring vacations can be very pleasant;

In winter, the temperature rarely reaches minus 15 degrees at night, and during the day the temperature is almost always above zero. There are also few tourists here at this time, however, there is an increasing tendency to relax in Goryachiy Klyuch in winter, because the snowy landscapes of the mountains and slopes only add beauty and charm to the city. Do not forget that the city is located in the foothills of the Caucasus, which means there is something to see, where to walk and what to admire all year round, especially since the year-round warm climate contributes to this.

How to get to Goryachiy Klyuch?

Goryachiy Klyuch is a fairly small city that can be easily reached from Moscow or St. Petersburg, as well as other cities in our country by train. If you want to seriously reduce travel time, then you can go by plane to Krasnodar, and then travel by other transport. There is also the option of traveling by car. It is necessary to consider in more detail all possible methods:

to Krasnodar by plane

If you depart from St. Petersburg, it will take about 3 hours, but the choice of airlines will not be so large. There are many more options in Moscow, and the flight time takes only 2 hours and 15 minutes. It is not recommended to delay booking tickets, since there may simply not be any left, because the Krasnodar region is popular among tourists. Moreover, the ticket price may subsequently turn out to be much higher than before;

Buses run quite often, almost every hour. If you travel during the day, the trip will be cheaper, only 140 rubles (the information is not accurate, most likely up to 200 rubles), and the travel time will be 1 hour 40 minutes. The road will be very exciting, since the route crosses the Republic of Adygea. The route involves passing through the city center, so it’s better to get off here right away so that you don’t have to go back from the end point; It is better to give preference to the Lastochka electric train, since the difference in price is not noticeable, plus, it is much more comfortable and faster to travel on such an electric train.
