Don't have cash
Almost everywhere they accept bank transfer or the good old transfer to Sberbank, but in our hotel they only took cash, and we, as non-residents of the Krasnodar Territory, had to pay a tax of 10 rubles. per person per day (this is the rule in the region). Thanks to the breakwater that separates the strip from the sea, you can swim even in a storm.

There is no improvement as such here. But there is a place for swimming. There is no entrance fee, so it gets quite crowded. Comfortable wooden decking makes it easier to access the water and allows you to sunbathe to your heart's content.
"Severyanka" ("Lagoon")
When thinking about where to swim in Gelendzhik, we advise you to choose this wonderful coast. It has a sand and pebble surface, with a gently sloping shore suitable for children and adults. Guests are provided with all the amenities and a lot of entertainment. There is a local cafeteria where you can have a snack in between water and sun treatments. There is a scuba diving center right here, which will undoubtedly appeal to diving enthusiasts. Free admission.
When to go
It is best to go during the “velvet season” - at the end of August and beginning of September. But even if it turned out that the vacation fell at the very peak - July, do not rush to get upset. There are also wild beaches in Gelendzhik: Sosnovka, Blue Bay beaches towards Kabardinka. The last point can be reached, for example, by car (renting one costs about 1,200 rubles per day) or by bus No. 3 from the city.
You shouldn’t count on completely deserted beaches, but there will definitely be fewer people than in popular urban spaces. All these resorts are easy to get to from Gelendzhik or Novorossiysk. Intercity bus service is good - you just need to choose the direction.

The location features cause the water to have a lower temperature, which makes it incredibly clean.

According to the characteristics of the water regime, the watercourses of the area are typical watercourses of the Black Sea coast (short length, high slopes of the water surface, developed hydrographic network). The feeding of watercourses is mixed with a predominance of rain.

Wild beaches between Thin Cape and Blue Bay
This area can safely be called remote. It is 500-600 meters away from the nearest roads and parking lots. The nearby airstrip, unfortunately, does not add to the attractiveness. Tourists and locals don't often get here to swim and sunbathe. An additional inconvenience is the abundance of large stones, which are impossible to walk on without shoes. But those who still decide to visit here will certainly appreciate the unsurpassed transparency of the local water.
Wild lagoon in the Tonkiy Mys microdistrict
The photo shows the wild beach of Gelendzhik, located in a deserted lagoon. The coast is strewn with large stones and pebbles. Lovers of secluded relaxation will feel very comfortable here. Pristine nature, clear sea and silence are definitely worth sacrificing the benefits of civilization for. Moreover, there is a highway nearby and there is somewhere to park the car.
Microdistrict Magnolia
It is located near a closed private sector, so it is always well-groomed and clean. "Krucha"
Despite the fact that no one will demand a fee for visiting, mostly only locals and rare connoisseurs of non-standard recreation come here. You should take everything you need with you and be sure to think about what you will use to hide from the sun. There are simply no shaded corners here. Access to the sea is hampered by medium and large pebbles, which can injure your feet. When swimming, you need to be careful, the depth increases rapidly, and you may encounter abundantly overgrown algae.
"At the lighthouse"

"Pine Grove"
This is a very unusual city beach in Gelendzhik. Its peculiarity is that it is completely artificial. Umbrellas and sun loungers are installed directly on a large wooden pontoon. No problems with hot sand or sharp rocks. For the most comfortable diving in the sea, a special descent is provided. There is no need to pay for the visit, but money will be needed to rent the necessary equipment.
Long-term rental housing in Gelendzhik
Renting an apartment in Gelendzhik in the off-season is very easy; there are a lot of apartments and rooms for rent. We did this through Avito, selecting the tab - private advertisements and thus contacting home owners directly.
In the off-season, that is, from September/October to May/June, a room in a guest house can be rented for 8-10 thousand rubles, this includes utility bills. The cost of renting a 1-room apartment in the off-season starts from 13 thousand rubles, and the average price is 15 thousand plus utilities.
If desired, you can rent an apartment all year round. There are apartment owners who no longer want to deal with tourists and bother about daily rent, so they rent out their apartments for the whole year. There are much fewer such apartments, but you can still find them in the off-season.
