As a popular resort, Gelendzhik is reliably provided with transport accessibility. Travelers have plenty to choose from: the local or a couple of neighboring airports accept flights from many cities, the railway station in Novorossiysk meets trains from both capitals, and two highways approaching the alluring bay from different directions allow you to travel by bus from nearby regions or even on your own car. Things are not so rosy with sea routes these days, but this option also has a place.

    By train to Gelendzhik

The most popular and cheapest way to get to Gelendzhik is by train. But there are no railway stations in our city. You will first have to take a train to one of the nearest cities with railway stations, and then by bus or taxi to Gelendzhik itself. The nearest stations are in Novorossiysk and Anapa. Krasnodar railway station is located further away, but this is also an option.

To come to us by train, it is best to buy tickets to Novorossiysk . You can get to Novorossiysk by direct flight from most major cities in the European part of Russia. If there is no direct flight, you can buy tickets with one transfer.

To Gelendzhik from Novorossiysk railway station

From the Novorossiysk railway station you need to get to Gelendzhik. This can be done in several ways:

    • meeting with the hosts of the guest house;
    • transfer or taxi from Gelendzhik, ordered by you in advance;
    • by bus from the Novorossiysk bus station;
    • minibus from the station;
    • taxi from the railway station itself (bad).

It is best to arrange a meeting with the owners of the guest house where you have booked accommodation. The hosts are interested in your stay in their guest house and readily provide a transfer service. At the same time, the price of a transfer from guest houses is significantly lower than the price of a taxi, because... For guest houses, transfer is only a related service, and not the main source of income. Some owners set a low price just to cover their gas costs. The average price of a transfer from Novorossiysk is 1000-1300 rubles.

If you are going to take a taxi or transfer, then it is better to order the service from Gelendzhik taxi companies than to agree to the services of station taxi drivers. Because, firstly, the prices of station taxi drivers are higher, and secondly, they will convincingly offer you dubious housing in Gelendzhik. On the Internet you can find sad stories of those who agreed to such services. It's better not to take risks. A taxi ordered in Gelendzhik will take you exactly to the address. You can order a transfer using the form at the end of this article.

Another option is minibuses, which will be waiting for you at the Novorossiysk railway station. Price is about 200-300 rubles per person. One minibus fits 10-15 people.

Also, you can go to Gelendzhik from the Novorossiysk bus station. To get there from the railway station you need to take trolleybus No. 6. A seat on a bus to Gelendzhik costs about 60 rubles.

But it is worth noting that there is no railway in Gelendzhik. This is explained by the complexities and features of the natural relief, although they are still trying to resolve this issue at the highest level. And yet, you can get to the resort by train as cheaply as possible. To do this, just use one of the options:

    1. From the capital's Kazansky railway station, take a direct flight to Novorossiysk. In this case, you will have to spend about 22 hours on the road. The distance to Gelendzhik is no more than 35 km and is easily covered by intercity minibuses, buses and taxis. True, it is better to use the latter option, since cheap options can be found through. Although buses depart from the Novorossiysk bus station every 30-40 minutes and travel along the entire Black Sea coast.
    2. In a similar way, you can use transit trains going through Moscow from St. Petersburg or Murmansk. But they depart from Kursky Station.
    3. If the first option is unavailable for some reason, for example, all tickets have already been sold out, you can use a longer route. Look for available trains from Moscow to Anapa, Adler, Tuapse or Krasnodar. Having arrived at the place, change to the bus and in a few hours you will reach Gelendzhik.

Remember that the sooner you search and book tickets, the higher your chances of purchasing the cheapest and most convenient ones. Closer to the peak of the tourist season, it is quite difficult to find free seats, and the cost of travel increases significantly. Travel time can take from 22 to 37 hours.

The influence of the sea on the climate of Gelendzhik

Thousands of tourists strive to get to this paradise with a mild, warm climate. And although there is no direct Moscow-Gelendzhik train, it’s easy to find out how to get to these places. There are several options; by choosing one of them, for example, through Novorossiysk, you will get to Gelendzhik from anywhere in the country.

Many people are interested in why the weather in these parts is warm and favorable most of the year. All this thanks to the warm Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. In the depths of the sea, the water temperature never drops below 7 degrees. In winter, warm water rises from the depths and replaces the cold water that descends. This is how circulation occurs. At the same time, the eastern monsoons that dominate the coast drive away cooled waters from the shores, and instead bring warm waters here with the current from Asia Minor. Thanks to such phenomena, the eastern part of the Black Sea is always 6 degrees warmer than the western part, although they are located at the same latitude. In summer, the opposite occurs: night breezes drive away highly heated waters, which are replaced by cooled lower layers. Therefore, in summer there is no sweltering heat here. The climate is favorable for recreation all year round.

    By car to Gelendzhik

It is very convenient to relax in Gelendzhik with your own car. The car provides the opportunity to travel around the beautiful suburbs of Gelendzhik, go to secluded beaches with the open sea, and visit natural monuments and attractions in the Gelendzhik environs. But be prepared for the fact that the roads are quite busy in the summer. It may be much better to leave the car at home.

There are two routes leading to Gelendzhik:

through the village Dzhubga (continuation of the M4 highway) and the route through Krymsk - Novorossiysk (road A146).

For a detailed calculation of the route, distance and gasoline consumption, use the form below:

    Why is Gelendzhik attractive?

The favorable season for vacationers lasts here from early May to mid-October; sea water heats up from 18 to 24 degrees. There are 114 beach areas on the Gelendzhik coastline, almost all of them are pebbly. The total length of the beaches is 20,423 meters. In the very center of Gelendzhik Bay, a sandy beach was specially artificially created, its length is 1000 meters, and its area occupies 5.5 hectares.

Gelendzhik is famous for its mineral springs. In the vicinity of the city, 5 self-flowing mineral springs and 18 deposits of useful mineral water are registered. Almost all sanatoriums and health resorts use sodium, chloride, hydrocarbonate waters, which contain low concentrations of boron, iodine and bromine, iodine waters from the Solntsedarskoye deposit. “Gelendzhik” medicinal table water is in great demand among the population of the Krasnodar Territory and beyond, its industrial production has been established. Gelendzhik sanatoriums annually accept patients with cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine, nervous system, and musculoskeletal diseases. Therapeutic mud is delivered to the sanatorium from the Taman Peninsula. The following health resorts are considered the most popular in Gelendzhik: “Blue Wave”, “Gelendzhik”, “Primorye”, named after. M. Lomonosov, “Red talka”, “Sunny Beach”, “Rus”, “Chernomorets”. Boarding houses “Builder”, “Caucasus”, “Friendly Beach”, “Kabardinka”, “Fakel”.

    Alternative options

Naturally, there are other options other than getting to Gelendzhik by train. So, you can choose an airplane, for example. In principle, this is much more convenient, because the flight will only take a couple of hours. But keep in mind that this option will cost two to three times more. Naturally, the cost of air travel will depend on the season and the location you choose. This option is also convenient because it will allow you to be right in the resort town itself, since the airport is located there.

There is another option - go by car or bus

However, if you take into account the fact that you have to travel about one and a half thousand kilometers (about 18 hours), and all this in a sitting position, then it doesn’t turn out to be very tempting. The bus option will cost not much less than the train - 1000-500 rubles

If we talk about a car, then a trip on it has an economic benefit only if it is full. Before such a trip, one must take into account the state of health, and older people should also take into account that it can be very difficult to bear such a load. Children usually also have a very hard time with sedentary transfers. If tourists have a limited budget, then they need to think about other options other than getting to Gelendzhik by train.

Pros and cons of the train

Traveling by train is the best option because it combines comfort and reasonable price. So, although the journey to Novorossiysk takes approximately 25-30 hours, depending on the route, you will spend this day or a little more with a personal sleeping place and the opportunity to warm up if necessary. Well, if we talk about coupes, then in terms of convenience they can already be considered almost like a personal number.

Moreover, modern trains also have luxury compartments, and you can even find single-seat options.

Sights, excursions and entertainment in Gelendzhik

First, we will tell you about the attractions within the city, and then we will move on to what you can see in the surrounding area.

    Gelendzhik embankment

Publication from GELENDZHIK (@gelen_live) March 25, 2021 at 8:41 PDT

So, number 1 on our list is, of course, the embankment. They say about the Gelendzhik embankment that it is the longest in the world. Let’s be honest, we didn’t measure it, and different sources also tell different things: either its length is 8 meters, or 10, or even 14. In general, it doesn’t matter. The embankment is really very beautiful.

It is divided into three parts: northern, central and southern.

The southern part of the embankment is the Tolstoy Cape area. There is not much entertainment in this area, but it offers the most beautiful views of the bay and the open sea. Be sure to walk to the lighthouse to take a photo against the sunset - it's worth it!

The central part of the embankment stretches from the Begemot water park (we’ll return to it a little later) to Lermontovsky Boulevard. This is the most crowded area with lots of entertainment, restaurants and bars.

For entertainment – City Amusement Park on the street. Revolutionary. More than 35 attractions - including quite extreme ones, slot machines, air hockey, 7D cinema, children's playground and shooting ranges. Noisy, "boiling" place.

From the central pier you can go on a sea excursion. And also take a photo with yachts in the background.

About the photo, by the way! Don't forget about the White Bride : this sculpture is a symbol of Gelendzhik and a place of pilgrimage for all newlyweds.

The northern part of the embankment is the Tonky Cape area. There is a children's amusement park, all sorts of playgrounds, and squirrels hide in the crowns of pine trees (stock up on nuts!)

By the way, on the Gelendzhik embankment there are routes for a health path. We first heard this word in the Caucasian Mineral Waters region, but it turns out that they also practice it in the Krasnodar Territory. Health path is a therapeutic dosed walking on foot. Routes can be viewed at the information stand near the city administration on Revolutionary 1.

    Safari Park

Publication from Maxim Simonenko (@maxim__simonenko) March 25, 2021 at 8:29 PDT

Safari Park is located on the slope of the Markhot ridge. You can get there by regular public transport (the stop is called “Safari Park”), or by free express minibuses and buses departing from the “Tsentralnaya” stop (Kirova St. 62). But to travel on the express train, you must already have a ticket in hand.

The area of the territory is almost 160 hectares. The safari park calls itself a rehabilitation center for animals that have suffered from human abuse. There is a zoo, a cable car, a maritime museum, a terrarium, a butterfly exhibition, even one dolmen and other educational and entertainment areas.

Among the Safari Park's pets: bears (by the way, you can feed them, but with special food, so stock up on cash), lions, tigers, wolves, wild boars, raccoons, chimpanzees, elephants, zebras, deer - in general, there are a lot of animals here. And their living conditions are quite decent. No, of course, we are for animals to live in the wild, but, unfortunately, this is not always possible.

Among the interesting things: a glass floor above an enclosure with bears and a glass tunnel, behind the walls of which predators walk.

Separately, we will tell you about the cable car .

Some tourists consider it (and not the bears, for example!) the most important attraction of the Safari Park. The Safari Park cable car rises to a height of 640 meters above sea level. The total length of the route is 1600 meters, the trip lasts 20 minutes. Animals walk underfoot - deer, fallow deer.

From the height there is a panoramic view of Gelendzhik Bay on one side, and the Greater Caucasus Range on the other.

Safari Park opening hours : daily from 9:00 to 17:00 (ticket office open until 16:00)

Cable car operating hours : Mon-Fri: from 11:00 to 17:00 (ticket office from 10:45 to 16:30) Sat-Sun: from 10:00 to 17:00 (ticket office from 9:45 to 16:30 ) The descent is open until 17:30

The ticket price differs when paying by card or cash (card is cheaper):

    • When paying by card: Ticket to the safari park: 1070₽
    • Cable car ticket: 510₽
  • When paying in cash:
Ticket to the safari park: 1250₽
  • Cable car ticket: 600₽
  • There are no discounted tickets, but children under 5 years old are free.

You cannot buy a ticket for the cable car only.

Be sure to check out the official website of the safari park: there are audio tours.

    Entertainment complex "Olympus"

Posted by Gelendzhik Public (@gelendzhik_public) Dec 4, 2019 at 6:23 PST

Just like the safari park, “Olympus” is located on the slope of the Markhot ridge. You can get there by bus along the street. Kirov, you can take a free company minibus.

There is a bowling alley, billiards, a planetarium, a paleontological museum, a crocodile farm, the Call of the Jungle petting zoo (loses, of course, to the safari park), a large concert hall in the form of an open amphitheater, and attractions.

So, about the attractions. There are two main attractions at Olympus: the cable car and the Ferris wheel.

The local cable car rises to a height of 420 m. Yes, lower than in the safari park, but cheaper (more on that below) and from the top station you can walk along the top of the ridge to two more attractions of Gelendzhik: the 43-meter Orthodox cross and the inscription “Gelendzhik” " Oh yes, the ride lasts 15 minutes.

The Ferris wheel is located at the very top of the mountain. The diameter is 25 meters, which means you can look at Gelendzhik from an even greater height. The main thing is not to fall out - the booths are open.

So here it is. About prices . You do not need to buy a ticket to enter the park. You buy a ticket for the cable car – it costs 800₽, and “as a gift” you get a Ferris wheel, a petting zoo and an exotarium. The Ferris wheel is not operational during winter.

    Operating mode:

    • Olympus Park: from 10:00 to 1:00
    • Call of the Jungle Petting Zoo, Exotarium, Fossil Museum: 10:00 to 21:00
    • bowling: from 11:00 to 2:00

Tourists hungry for bread and circuses can attend a beer party (a glass of beer is free) absolutely free of charge. In July and August daily, in June and September - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

All details are on the official website of the Olympus Park.

Water parks "Golden Bay", "Dolphin" and "Behemoth"

“Golden Bay” is not only the largest water park in Russia, but also one of the most prestigious in Europe (included in the TOP 5) . In addition to 49 (!) slides (including “Tornado” - a family slide with a height of 23 meters and a track length of 174 meters, along which you can go down on four-seater rafts), there are 10 water attractions, 8 swimming pools, as well as a restaurant, a pizzeria and a bunch of other summer edalen.

Posted by Waterpark Golden Bay (@buhtagold_aqua) Jan 23, 2020 at 10:38 PST

You can get to the water park on free express trains. The schedule and routes are on the official website.

    Ticket price:

    • Admission for children under 106 cm tall is free;
    • Height from 106 to 145 cm – price 900₽;
    • Height from 145 cm – price 1750₽.

Lockers for storing personal belongings - for an additional fee (in cash).

I must say, despite the regalia, after visiting the “Golden Bay” tourists have rather mixed reviews. There are a lot of complaints about long queues - and this is despite the considerable number of slides.

That's why many people go to Behemoth.

The Begemot water park is significantly smaller than the Golden Bay. It has a total of 15 slides and 3 pools. But there is a chance that you will be able to ride more times than in the “Golden Bay” - there are almost no queues at the “Behemoth”. Prices are lower. And lockers for clothes are free.

An adult ticket for the whole day - from 10:00 to 19:00 - costs 1300 ₽. From 14:00 to 19:00 – 1200₽. Children's ticket – 750₽ and 650₽ respectively. There are also various discounts and promotions. See the official website for details.

The oldest water park in Gelendzhik, Dolphin , is located next to the Central Beach. There are only 12 slides (8 adults, 4 children), a hydromassage pool for adults and a paddling pool for children.

    Ticket price: adult – 500₽, children – 300₽.

Young people here, of course, will be bored, but it’s quite possible to diversify your beach holiday and entertain children.

Waterfalls of the Zhane River and dolmens

    • 16 km from Gelendzhik

    View this post on Instagram

    Posted by Hare_house (@hare_house_) Feb 18, 2021 at 12:19 pm PST

This is a protected area near the village of Vozrozhdenie. You can buy a tour, or you can get there on your own, including by public transport (stop “River Zhane”, buses No. 106, 107, 112, 117/1). To enter this attraction you have to pay an eco-fee of 250₽, but only during the season. Admission is free during the off-season.

Some people come here for the waterfalls, others for the dolmens. Let's talk. The Zhane waterfall complex in Gelendzhik is one of the most numerous: there are about 400 waterfalls in total. They are, however, quite low: some tourists dubbed them “streams,” but the places here are beautiful, there are many paths, including equipped ones. You can swim, and in some you even need to: for example, under the Emerald (the most beautiful). Water from this waterfall accumulates in the “Cup of Love”: newlyweds simply must take a dip here so that their life together can be long and happy.

The Zhane Valley is also famous for its dolmens. Dolmens are the oldest (3500–1200 BC) stone buildings. In the vicinity of Gelendzhik, only 120 dolmens are known, and in the Zhane valley there are four of them. The first dolmen group includes one square and two round dolmens. There is another large destroyed dolmen nearby. All facilities are signposted and information signs are installed.

The purpose of the dolmens still remains unknown. Just like the creators of these mystical structures. But people believe that dolmens fulfill wishes and fill them with strength and health. The Zhane Valley is considered a “place of power.” Adherents of spiritual practices come here for months at a time: they meditate, recharge their energy, and also sell ceramic amulets, dream catchers, magnets, hand soap, honey, herbs and tea. In general, in addition to admiring nature, you can also buy souvenirs here.

Just wear comfortable and non-slip shoes.

Dzhankhotsky forest of Pitsunda pine and Blue Abyss

    Publication from GELENDZHIK | GELENDZHIK (@more.gelendzhika) May 17, 2020 at 10:02 PDT

We have already mentioned boron, so now we will mainly talk about the Blue Abyss.

So, Blue Abyss. This is a lagoon between the village of Divnomorskoye and the village of Dzhankhot. What is remarkable about it? Absolutely clear turquoise water, large white pebbles on the coast, white rocks and green edges of pine trees. Incredibly beautiful place.

You can get here either from the top through the forest, or from the bottom through the beach (and in some places by water). Both the first and second methods are quite difficult. But, if you decide, we recommend choosing the “top” method, since the most important thing here is not clean water, but the views. And on top they are simply gorgeous...

So, you need a sign for the “Blue Abyss” camping site. There is no camping here anymore, but the sign remains as a guide for tourists. First you will find yourself in a wonderful pine forest (this alone is worth coming here). You walk among the pines - along a soft air layer of pine needles, breathe the purest air, which literally makes your head spin, and then the pines disperse, you discover a sharp cliff and - a view. Well, here you can just sit and admire, or you can go downstairs. To help tourists, there are ropes in some places and a ladder has been installed below, but the descent is still quite difficult: be sure to wear comfortable shoes. To understand: slates are very inconvenient. Of course, you can take a risk, but it’s still not worth it - the needles are very slippery.

    Rock Sail

Publication from ??Katerina Knobloch?? (@katerina_knoblokh) May 23, 2020 at 12:57 PDT

This attraction is located near the beach of the village of Praskoveevka. Bus No. 108 runs all the way from Gelendzhik to Praskoveevka. The rock is also visited during a sea excursion. Well, lovers of hiking can get to it along the seashore from Dzhankhot - 4 km one way.

The Parus rock is a rock (sorry, but there’s no other way to say it) 30 meters high and 1 meter wide with a through hole at a height of 2 meters. Tourists love to climb into this hole for a photo.

You can easily get to all the places described above on your own, but there are attractions in the vicinity of Gelendzhik that are best visited as part of an organized excursion.

    Pshad waterfalls

    • 70 km from Gelendzhik

This is a group of waterfalls - about 100 in total. The waterfalls are located in the upper reaches of the Pshada River: there are 13 of them. But the Pshada waterfalls also include the waterfalls of the Krasnaya River, Gorlyanovoy Stream, and Kokcharskaya Shlit. In general, this is all not important. And the important thing is that an excursion to the Pshad waterfalls is not at all like a walk to the Zhane waterfalls. First you will have to get to the village of Pshada, and then you will have to walk about 10 km along the river bed. In general, there is barely enough time to return to the last route to Gelendzhik. Therefore, we still recommend buying an excursion (in addition to a transfer to the village, you will be transferred to the pedestrian part of the route in a UAZ, and then treated to local wine) or go on a jeep tour with locals.

The most important thing is to be sure to take swimsuits and bags with you where you can put dry clothes. Many tourists go on this excursion not so much for the waterfalls themselves, but for the road to them: rushing with the breeze in an open body along mountain streams is quite a vivid emotion.

What is the most convenient way to get from Gelendzhik to the dolmens

Dolmens are located throughout Greater Gelendzhik, so the trip will take a minimum of time, and many dolmens are easy to reach for elderly people and small children, no need to cross rivers and dense subtropical forest!

I’ll say right away that the famous dolmens in the Lower Olympus Park near the Aya River are artificial buildings of modern people, these are not the same magical dolmens!

There is also a beautiful, mighty dolmen-2007 at the top of the Markokht ridge. The structure was assembled from slabs of destroyed real dolmens; such slabs are scattered throughout the Black Sea forest. Volunteers transported several slabs to a place visited by tourists and built a new dolmen. For example, such amateur activities are not very interesting to me. I want something truly ancient and preserved!

The real dolmens are located near Mount Nekis, 6 km from the city towards the village of Svetly. You need to drive along the M-4 highway, near the gas station, turn onto the opposite highway and after 50 m you will see a dirt road and go up to the top. There are 2 well-preserved dolmens, the Solar and the Moon, and an incredibly beautiful view!

    Resorts of Greater Gelendzhik

As we have already said, the resort area of Gelendzhik also extends to nearby villages: Arkhipo-Osipovka, Kabardinka, Dzhanhot and others. Let's talk about the most popular resorts.

    Kabardinka

    • 17 km from Gelendzhik

Resort village on the shore of Tsemes Bay. Located in the valley between Cape Doob and the spurs of the Markotkh ridge.

In Soviet times, Kabardinka was called the “Children's Republic”. The weather here is the same as on the southern coast of Crimea: the climate is very mild and dry, there is practically no rain. The beaches are small-pebble, with artificially created sand layers. The entrance to the sea is gentle.

The main attraction of the resort is the Old Park.

A very interesting place where, in a relatively small area, you can admire the Gothic fountain, retire with your loved one in the medieval “House for Two,” ask for luck from the Japanese Ebisu and solve the mystery of the Cheops pyramids. Admission is paid: 500₽ and 200₽ for adults and children, respectively. Details are on the official website of the park.

Despite some distance from Gelendzhik, housing prices in Kabardinka cannot be called low. On average, the cost of a standard double room is about 2000-3000 rubles. For example, a stay in the “Cozy” guest house will cost you 2000₽.

    Divnomorskoe

    • 11 km from Gelendzhik

This resort in the Krasnodar Territory is located at the mouth of the Mezyb River (Inagua).

Divnomorskoe is famous as the most comfortable resort in Greater Gelendzhik (with the exception, of course, of Gelendzhik itself), and is also considered the best “party” place: young people prefer to relax here.

In addition to a large number of nightclubs, including outdoor ones, Divnomorskoye has a Poseidon mini-water park. So there is also something to do here with children.

On the southern outskirts of Divnomorsk, the famous Dzhankhotsky pine forest begins - the largest location of Pitsunda pine in Russia. We will tell you more about it a little later.

Housing prices in Divnomorskoye are higher than in Kabardinka. The most interesting offer is the guest house “Sea Bowl Gelendzhik”: located at an altitude of 200 m above sea level in a subtropical forest. Yes, it’s a bit far from the beach, but there are views... And also an outdoor swimming pool with mineral water and a waterfall. The asking price is 2000₽.

    Dzhanhot

    • 18 km from Gelendzhik

Dzhanhot is a resort for a much more relaxing holiday. It is located in a valley surrounded by the already mentioned forest of relict Pitsunda pine. The air here is not only “tasty”, but also very healthy: pine trees emit valuable essential oils and phytoncides.

The beach is covered with large pebbles, the depth increases quite quickly and unexpectedly - this resort is not for families with children . But for older children there are several fenced areas on Orlyonok beach.

There is also Korolenko’s dacha and the famous Parus rock - the same one on the screensaver for this article. And the name Dzhanhot itself translates as “happy person.”

The price of Dzhankhot happiness, by the way, is not at all high. For example, a stay at the Edem guest house will cost you only 1000₽.

But, if you are willing to pay more, then at your service is the Blagodat resort complex with a tennis court, children's playground and 300 meters from the Black Sea. The price of a standard room is 4350 RUR per night.

    Arkhipo-Osipovka

    • 54 km from Gelendzhik

Arkhipo-Osipovka, Arkhipka in common parlance, is the largest resort in Greater Gelendzhik after the city itself. It has quite a lot of its own attractions: there is a water park, a dolphinarium, a park with relict pine trees, and several museums. Among them is the Museum of Bread and Wine. We recommend! 200₽ – and you will be given a tour with a tasting of 3 types of wine. There is also very tasty bread here.

Arkhipo-Osipovka is located in a valley where two rivers flow - Vulan and Teshebs. It is, of course, very picturesque here, but the main advantage of this resort is its convenient location on the M4 Don federal highway: many tourists heading from Krasnodar prefer to stop for a vacation in Arkhipo-Osipovka.

In addition to museums, there are quite a lot of historical attractions (Arkhipka has one of the largest concentrations of dolmens) and natural beauties, including the Tesheb (Bigius, Gebius) waterfalls.

The central beach is sand and pebble with a gentle entrance. There are numerous wild beaches with large pebbles, but incredibly beautiful views.

Wind surfers and divers also come to Arkhipo-Osipovka on vacation: the stretch of sea to the village of Betta is famous for its amazing underwater terrain.

Despite the popularity of the resort, housing can be rented quite inexpensively. For example, the Cherry Street guest house offers standard rooms for 1000₽.
