From the point of view of the Russian government, the city of Anapa is a resort of federal significance. There are a lot of sanatoriums, boarding houses, hotels and other enterprises created for the benefit of tourists from Russia, as well as from near and far abroad. And from the point of view of vacationers, Anapa is a city of beaches. Almost the entire coastline here is reserved for beaches. They are so different: sandy and pebbly, crowded and secluded, near and far, clean and not too clean (although, judging by the reviews of satisfied vacationers, there are much more clean ones). In fact, people go to Anapa for a beach holiday.
What beaches are there in Dzhemete?
A special place in this series of places for swimming and sunbathing is occupied by the beaches of Dzhemete. At first glance, there is nothing unusual: sand, sea, sun - that is, everything that is supposed to be in a seaside resort is available. But there is a lot of sand here, whole mountains, or rather dunes. A shrub grows on them, which is called wild olive; its more official name is “silver sucker.” At the beginning of summer, when the wild olive tree blooms, the seaside air is filled with a delightful floral aroma. This modest plant bears the proud title of “guardian of the sand dunes” and is considered a symbol of Anapa.
Another undoubted advantage of Dzhemete beaches is the clean sea and flat bottom. If the “Central” beach in Anapa is located in a shallow bay, then in Dzhemete the coastline is open, thanks to which the sea here is a little cleaner. Of course, this depends on the sea, the weather, storms, etc.
Sometimes mud washes up to the shore, but vacationers notice that the total amount of pleasant impressions from a beach holiday in the village of Dzhemete outweighs such minor troubles. The depth of the bottom here, as on other sandy beaches, increases gradually, which will be especially appreciated by both kids who love to splash in the shallow water and parents who have less anxiety about the safety of their beloved child.
If we continue the comparison with the “Central” beach, we will discover another advantage of suburban beaches. Here the number of vacationers per square meter of sand is much less. Those who are not impressed by the dense rows of bodies turning pink in the sun and want to sit comfortably on the beach should go here. Although the number of people, of course, depends on the season.
At the height of the holidays it is quite crowded here, but in the off-season the beach becomes much more spacious. In winter, it is completely deserted here; even the swans wintering in Anapa prefer “Central”, where you can beg people for a crust of bread, and if you’re lucky, a tangerine.
The only disadvantage of Dzhemete beaches is, perhaps, the distance from Anapa. It’s best for those who settled right in the village. Of course, minibuses constantly depart from Anapa, but who would be delighted by a trip on public transport in the summer heat?
However, you can go to Dzhemete by boat. It will be an exciting boat trip before swimming and sunbathing. True, such a trip will cost a little more than traveling by minibus, but the pleasure gained will fully justify such costs.

The village of Dzhemete near Anapa
The village of Dzhemete itself is small. The population here is only a thousand people. The proximity to Anapa and the development of the resort business have turned the village into a natural extension of beach Anapa. However, local residents cope with the influx of vacationers very successfully.
There are also boarding houses in Dzhemet, open all year round, where qualified medical staff will help restore health undermined by hard work, and mini-hotels, and a market with a variety of products and goods, and a lot of entertainment, and excursions - all at the service of vacationers.
The main advantage of Dzhemete is its calm atmosphere, ideal for a family holiday. This spirit of home comfort and tranquility attracts more and more guests to Dzhemet.
Popular beaches of Dzhemete
The coastal area of Dzhemete is a unique recreation area with the purest snow-white sand. Many tourists who give special preference to these places affectionately call them “golden”. And there is some truth in this. The sand on the coast near the village of Dzhemete actually contains a small percentage of gold.
The beaches of Dzhemete are a great place for a secluded and relaxing holiday away from the busy, crowded resort of Anapa.
- Central
The central beach of the village is located in the very center of Pionersky Prospekt, as if uniting two popular resort areas - the villages of Vityazevo and Anapa. The beaches of Dzhemete are good because there are not many people on them, so the sea here is relatively clean, as is the coastal area. This is also due to the fact that Dzhemet and its surroundings are not an industrial zone, there are practically no enterprises here, and therefore there is no one here to pollute the environment.
The beaches of this small village are an excellent option for families with children. Sand and gentle slopes to the water will bring a lot of pleasure to both kids and parents. According to the observations of hydrometeorologists, both the water and air off the coast are always several degrees higher than in Anapa, so at the beginning of the season, when the sea has not yet warmed up for swimming, children are already swimming in Dzhemet.
You can get to the beach from Anapa by car or minibus, and it will take no more than 15-20 minutes. Basically, both local residents and tourists living in Anapa come here to relax for the whole day. The beach is landscaped and has everything you need for a good rest by the water. Sun loungers, sun loungers and umbrellas are available here throughout the day, there are many changing cabins and showers on the territory, there is a first-aid post and a rescue station.
Beach area
The beaches of Dzhemete consist of a mixture of sand, shell rock and quartz. As you pass through the dunes, your feet sink into warm, light yellow sand.
Unlike Anapa, the sand in Dzhemet is local, not imported. Therefore, playing a child as a treasure hunter will not bring any unpleasant finds.
Lower Dzhemete is distinguished by a high concentration of well-maintained beaches belonging to children's health camps, boarding houses and recreation centers. The administration of each tourist site warmly welcomes vacationers and arranges the rented beach area as comfortably as possible. Therefore, the question of Dzhemete vacationers, which beach to choose, remains open. On the one hand, the central coast is a little noisier and packed with infrastructure, on the other hand, there are quiet private landscaped areas with a minimum of entertainment.
Beaches of hotels and resorts
"White beach"
The name "White Beach" speaks for itself. On the territory of this hotel there is the cleanest beach on the coast with velvety white sand. Access to the beach is possible directly from the hotel building, so tourists living there can sunbathe and swim at any time convenient for them.
There are also a large number of water activities - jet skis, catamarans, water skiing and even parachute flights over the water surface of the bay. And for those who want to combine sea swimming and visiting attractions, a modern Tiki-Tak water park has been built not far from the beach. The abundance of slides, fresh water pools, small boutiques and souvenir stalls on its territory are simply amazing.
“White Beach” is a unique beach entertainment complex, built from environmentally friendly modern building materials.
Beach of the guest house "Priobye"
Not far from Dzhemeta on Pionersky Prospekt (in the first line of houses by the sea) there is an attractive guest house “Priobye” for tourists. This coastal area is perfect for families with children and ideal for living by the sea for elderly or disabled people. The descent to the sea is gentle, the water is clean and transparent, and the sand serves as a healing quartz warming.
Beach of the Seahorse Guest House
Not far from the Chernomorskaya Zorka sanatorium there is another comfortable guest house, Seahorse. And although its beach area is small in size, there are always enough people who want to relax on it. An amazing clean beach with its own infrastructure will bring pleasure to tourists who prefer a relaxing holiday by the water. And the guest house itself, if you decide to stay there, will give you an unforgettable atmosphere of warmth and comfort.
Wild and nudist beaches
Having decided to relax with a tent in the vicinity of Dzhemete, without much comfort and coziness, tourists quickly find secluded places, because the coastal beach area of Dzhemete is almost 10 km, and high sand dunes themselves separate the beaches from each other. That is why you can find a place where you can set up a tent and, without disturbing anyone, spend a few days on the shore, in Dzhemete quite quickly.
When talking about nudist beach holidays, one cannot ignore the beach known to all residents of Dzhemete and Anapa, located not far from Bolshoi Utrish. Beautiful wild nature and surprisingly gentle sea attract thousands of naturists who prefer freedom and emancipation.
You can get to the nudist beach by walking along the water's edge through the stone boulders of one of the wild beaches of Dzhemete in about 20 minutes, and if you like to travel by water, small private boats will take you here from the water piers.
As you understand, there is nothing here that could indicate that the beach is landscaped, so if you need elements of comfort on vacation, take care of it yourself.
This is truly a heavenly place, chosen by people who are not ashamed of their nudity, absolutely free and welcoming. The regulars warmly welcome all those who show even the slightest interest in this type of recreation.
