How to get there

By plane. The closest airport to Novomikhailovsky is 100 km away, in Gelendzhik. Can be reached from Krasnodar (Pashkovsky airport) 136 km. A little history

Although the Greek colony of Nikopolis appeared in these places in ancient times, the history of modern Novomikhailovsky began in 1864 with the fortified Cossack post of the Shapsut coastal battalion.
