Belousovo is a city in the north of the Kaluga region, actually a suburb of Obninsk, located along the Varshavskoe highway.
The most interesting thing in Belousovo is located at the entrance to the city from Moscow - the Concrete Egg!
Monument Egg made of concrete at the Belousov poultry farm
In addition to the poultry farm, there are several other small factories, but the main enterprise of the town is a Gazprom branch - a compressor station. Several main gas pipelines pass near Belousovo. Thanks to Gazprom, Belousovo grew from a village to a city, having passed through the stage of an urban-type settlement in Soviet times.
But what made the village Belousovo was the construction of a weaving factory in the 19th century.
The factory building is well preserved.
The weaving factory is still operating
There is no more antiquity in the city.
But there are a lot of cars. A federal highway passes through the city, which intersects with the road to Zhukov. A little further there is another traffic light - the turn to Obninsk. The flow of cars is very large.
Let's turn from Moskovskaya Street (Varshavka) onto Zhukovskaya. We see a new house of modern architecture.
And we go inside Belousovo to Guryanovo Street. It's quiet here. You can live.
The bride's glade in Belousovo looks like this in the picture:
But in reality it is:
Liquor store next door. So that the bride can cover the clearing?
Dull tile paths
Leaning street library
Set of metal structures
Monument map with gas pipeline diagram
Memorial plaque from the cemetery
A half-abandoned playground against the backdrop of an abandoned construction site.
This is the glade of brides in Belousovo
An ordinary yard in Belousovo - chaotic parking on the former lawn
It seems like an ordinary village that was called a city? No. It has its own peculiarity.
Clothes dryers made from gas pipes!
Another improvement object is a public garden
The tile platform clearly had some benefit during Soviet times. Maybe a dance floor? Now there are just a few tents.
Flowerbed, benches, trampled grass
DK Constellation. An ordinary building. I liked the stairs.
Is there really no improvement in Belousovo? Eat! Around the temple.
The parishioners tried very hard, it’s nice to see, especially in contrast with the rest of the city
The Church of St. Elizabeth was built in Belousovo in 2004
View of the temple from the highway
Let's go back...
Gas pipes again
The clinic is combined with Pyaterochka
Of course, Belousovo was not called a city in vain. A village - nothing more. A typical area of any city looks like this. Boring and dull. But there is Obninsk nearby! There are many places to work around, the Moscow region and Moscow are very close. You can live.

Information about the city of Belousovo
History of the settlement: The first mention of the village of Belousovo is found in the Atlas of the Kaluga province for 1782. It was located “on the bank of the Belousovka River on the right side and on the main road running from Borovsk to Serpukhov.” There were 13 households in the village, in which 101 people lived (52 men and 49 women). Belousovo got its name from the Belous grass that grew around the village. The development of the settlement was facilitated by the construction of a factory (cloth and silk production) by Evgeniy Ivanovich Grunt near the village on the Prokofievskaya Heath. In 1859, Belousovo had 35 households; in 1880, 158 people worked at the Belousovsky weaving factory. The factory was the main city-forming enterprise of the settlement and the only breadwinner for Belousov residents and residents of nearby villages until the Great Patriotic War. It was the largest weaving factory in the area, producing cotton scarves, and during the war, linen for the front. After the liberation of the area from the occupiers in January 1942, the Belousovsky Village Council resumed its work. On the territory of the village council there were collective farms: “Karl Marx” - the village of Dobroye, “Dawn of Socialism” - the village of Belousovo, “May 1” - the village of Aleshinka, “Imeni Molotov” - the village of Kolesnikovo. In 1955, the Belousovsky village council included the settlement of Obninskoye. In connection with the development of industry, the growth of the population employed in industrial production, on the basis of decision of the Kaluga Regional Executive Committee No. 879 of December 25, 1962, the settlement of Belousovo was transformed into a workers' village. In 1996, as a result of administrative reform in the Kaluga region, the city of Belousovo left the Zhukovsky district and became an independent administrative and financial structure. Since January 2006, the city of Belousovo has again become part of the Zhukovsky district as an urban settlement.

Labor market and employment: Much attention is paid to employment issues in the city. The basic institution organizing the implementation of state policy in the labor market for the population is the State Institution “Zhukovsky District Employment Center”, operating on the basis of federal and regional legislation. The main goal of the ongoing labor market policy is to create conditions for effective employment of the population, provide citizens with work in the territory of an urban settlement, allowing them to ensure a higher standard of living, and, as a result, reduce social tension in society. The number of applications from citizens looking for work is growing every year. At the same time, an increasing number of citizens turn to the employment service not for benefits, but with the goal of finding employment as quickly as possible, including for public and temporary work. This is evidenced by the increase in the proportion of employed people who applied to change jobs, as well as the fact that 68% find employment within the first 10 days from the date of application, i.e. without receiving unemployed status and without applying for benefits. Standard of living of the population: During 2010-2011, the monetary income of the population of the city of Belousovo grew annually. The main role in this growth belongs to a significant increase in wages, the growth rate of which outpaced the growth rate of consumer prices. The average monthly accrued wage was 2.8 times higher than the subsistence minimum. The highest level of average wages is in construction, transport and communications, but in most small enterprises the level of officially reported wages is low.

Tournaments are held between enterprise teams in table tennis, volleyball, basketball, swimming, cross-country skiing, and shooting. Belousovo has unique natural resources and is rich in history and culture. Favorable natural conditions and a clean ecological environment contribute to the organization of healthy recreation. Today, in the Zhukovsky district, which includes the city of Belousovo, there are 15 health camps and recreation centers. There are no travel companies registered on the territory of the urban settlement. The main reasons are the lack of demand in the domestic tourism market due to price non-competitiveness. Every year, a sports festival is organized among schoolchildren, dedicated to the memory of N.I. Kuzminov (physical education teacher of BSS No. 2). The city’s athletes attend summer sports camps and camps organized at the district level. Every year a competition is held for the best athlete competing in regional competitions for our city.
Industry: Industry is the most important sector of the city's economy. Considering that the municipal budget is subsidized, the issue of increasing its revenue side is urgent. The municipality has taken a course towards the priority development of its own industry. Focus on industrial development will lead to an increase in the volume of industrial production, and the volume of tax revenues to the budget will increase. The municipality falls into the “mixed” income category.
Small businesses are intensively developing in the city. Among the areas of activity of these enterprises: woodworking - this industry is represented by LLC LV-Stroykomplekt, food - LLC Russian Moroz, the Shanghai enterprise is engaged in the production of shoes. The main inter-industry proportions in the structure of industrial production are preserved. In general, for the period 2010-2011. The industrial complex has retained its traditional specialization, however, further industrial growth will be associated not only with increasing volumes at existing enterprises, but also with the implementation of new large projects.
Trade and services: In the consumer market of the municipality there are 23 enterprises engaged in wholesale trading activities and a number of small organizations and entrepreneurs engaged in retail trade. The purchasing power of the city's population has been constantly growing since 2004. Work is being carried out in the settlement to streamline the small retail trade network. Work is underway to improve the quality of service to the population.
Investments: The city's economy is aimed at increasing investment activity, for which a favorable investment climate is created. The main investors continued to be large and medium-sized enterprises of the city. The main investments were directed by enterprises to the construction of buildings and structures, housing construction.
State of the environment: The main air pollutants are: dust of various compositions, sulfur dioxides, carbon monoxide. Emissions of pollutants into the air from stationary sources have decreased compared to 1999. This is due to the fact that all boiler houses operating on solid and liquid fuels have been converted to gas over the years. As a result of the construction of a new compressor station at the Belousovsky UMP Mostransgaz using a more economical technology, emissions of pollutants were reduced by 12 tons compared to 2001. In the city of Belousovo, the largest reservoirs are the pond and the Dyrochnaya river. In 2003-2004 They were cleaned, in 2010 the coastal zone was put in order, and the beach was equipped. Control over wastewater discharges in the area is carried out by laboratories, NPO "Technology" in Obninsk, and a laboratory at the Main Department of Natural Resources for the Kaluga Region.
